Looks just as good as the OE filter, just a lot cheaper. There were 4 filters in the sealed package I received. In addition, each of the filters was individually sealed. I will buy more of these when my current stock runs out.

Just bought a new Whirlpool side by side fridge. You'd think it would come with an air filter, but no. I looked at the price that Whirlpool wanted and got 4 of these for about the same price that Whirlpool was asking for a filter. These fit with no problems.

What I liked about this product is that you get a pack of 4 filters at a better price than if you bought them individually. Although there is no indicator in the kit I still think it's a good buy. It fits exactly like the standard filter that came with the original Kenmore refrigerator.

I don't know what the factory filter looks like but it's $10 and this one is only $1.50 each which is a lot. It fits perfectly in my Whirlpool fridge. I was surprised how tiny it is, I don't expect it to last very long since it's so small, but since it's cheap I'll only change it every two months.

Arrived quickly. This is the first time I have not ordered a filter directly from a fridge manufacturer so I just taped it in for comparison. The plastic filter housing isn't as rigid as the manufacturer's and the fit was a bit looser, but none of these issues should detract from the filter's purpose. Most likely a repeat purchase.

Doesn't exactly match the case but that's a plus for me. The flap covering the filter prevents it from falling out. The proprietary filter was so dense that removing the filter was often a colossal task. To be honest I don't expect the filter to last a full 6 months like a well known brand. 4 months was the best I've seen and with the price difference if I only get 3 months I'm still a few bucks ahead on the filter.

Filters have shrunk causing the tabs to tighten into a permanent position that is too close to the filter housing to effectively snag the refrigerator body and the Filter falls out. I actually opened up the plastic cases and swapped out the internal charcoal filters to continue using the original case that came with the fridge. This air filter was purchased for a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator model number WRS588FIHZ. The correct air filter number is W10311524. These air filters are sized correctly for the filter frame, but the tabs on the sides do not protrude far enough to hook into the filter box frame.
