Accurate enough for my use

I don't have a good way to test the accuracy of this gauge and you can find reviews of many of these inexpensive gauges online. I'm more interested in relative readings, so absolute accuracy or linearity isn't that important to me. It's doubtful that the $50 versions of these things are terribly accurate. The readability of the display is good and all the numbers I would like are there. . The input and output wires are probably 12AWG and the ends are tinned. I wouldn't run 150 watts there.

 • Easy setup
Cons

Almost very good by the testers

This little power meter is great in many ways, but not so good in many ways. I like its small form factor and ease of use, but I don't like that you have to wait for it to scroll through all the different readings to get to the one you want, only for it to disappear before you can actually read it. It has potential, but I feel like a firmware update is needed to fix those and a few other pesky specs. It's also about 2% less in voltage and current compared to my Fluke and Siglent lab meters.

Pros
 • Stylish and modern design
Cons
 • Some difficulties

DANGEROUS! READ THIS WARNING! POSITIVE FEEDBACK IS WRONG! READ VERY LOW!

IF YOU USE THIS METER TO READ OR SET CURRENT OR POWER ABOUT ANY DEVICE, THERE IS A REAL RISK OF BURNING THIS DEVICE! I have been using these devices for over 10 years, have a lot of experience with them and have confirmed that this meter reads only about 75% of the actual current after comparing it to three other devices already known in my shop. be accurate. Luckily I found the problem before it cost me hundreds of dollars in a burned ESC or motor.

Pros
 • Easy to use
Cons
 • High price

Does not correspond to the specified properties. Let the buyer be alert.

The description on amazon.com specifically says: I was planning to use this to measure the current drawn by ws2812 LED filaments running from a 5V power supply .Just within tolerance, I thought. So I connect it to the circuit, the LEDs work fine, the measured voltage on both the source and load side is 5.13V, but the display stays completely blank. Then I find paper. the attached documentation shows 8-60V. It's completely useless to me, so let's go back.

At least 20% inaccurate

This meter is at least 20% inaccurate on measurements I made with a 50 ohm dummy load versus a Rigol DP831 power supply and a Fluke 287 multimeter 15 V and a 50 ohm load, then compared the current draw of both the Rigol DP 831 and the Fluke versus a 150A power analyzer. Here are my results. Rigol -> 15.01 volts. Power meter 150A -> 14.93V -> 4.65W -> 5.8W -> 0.31 Amps. -> 0.39 amps. Fluke mirrored Rigols' findings almost exactly. Conclusion: This meter has an accuracy of…

Extremely Inaccurate Good for Electricians

Extremely Inaccurate. Installed on my e-bike to measure Wh and Ah during a 45 mile ride. My battery is advertised as a 48V 20Ah battery. To calculate Wh, multiply V x Ah = total Wh for the battery. In my case 48 VX 20 = 960Wh. So how much battery did I use during my 45 mile trip? Judging by this piece of junk, it measured 5ah and 284 Wh! It is impossible. As I suspected, the battery was almost dead and only lasted 10 miles on my next ride the next day. With another 2 Ah. So either my 20Ah…

Worth the price! - Multitester

Let me start by saying that I bought this built in power meter and also a Powerwerx 150A with Anderson 45A Powerpole connectors. It's from Revain, but I bought it direct from the Powerwerx website, for $50 from Powerwerx and $59 from Revain. I assumed these two counters were made in the same factory just with different graphics. I wanted to try this cheaper one and see how it works. I added 45A Anderson/Powerpole connectors. When I measured the battery power it showed 12.25VDC, Powerwerx…
