I like the Wera brand, they have high quality products. This ratchet is very strong and durable, very ergonomic and heavy enough to work with. The set is very light and compact and has everything I need as my job means I only use metric tools.

This was my second purchase of WERA socket sets for 3/8" metric drives. WERA have updated this set with color strips for each socket size which is a nice addition. I use emergency vehicle tools when traveling out of area. This kit is a good compromise of quality, price, compact storage and basic utility for mechanical repairs/duties. Used to replace a car battery and assemble furniture. Simply a practical set.

I bought this to keep in my truck as part of a small tool kit. I've only had it for a few days so I can say a lot about the durability but I used to buy a lot of famous tool cart stuff when I was working in the shop and the quality of this set is as good if not better. It's a bit annoying not having a 14mm bolt (I understand they assume you also buy an SAE set and use a 9/16" socket, but there are hardly any standard bolts on the market today street), but I knew that and bought an outlet. too…

I have used many different socket sets over the years. I sadly remember the good old days when Craftsman tools were made in the USA and were of excellent quality. I also remember Thorsen. If you want that level of quality today, you have Snap-On or Mac. But the prices are so high. Just opened the box. They exude quality and feel great. They go with the 1/4 and 3/8 sets I have and come in a quality, well organized carry case. In fact, stuff with rigid walls. I have a problem with the seller. I received them in a Revain box with no padding. I could tell that if the ride went much longer than that, the box would rip because the Wera box was loose. I really like this ratchet set. Let's take a look at the details one by one:* Case: The case is really top notch. It's a soft bag made primarily of nylon, but with enough rigidity to keep everything in place, even when tossed in a tool bag or backpack along with other things.
