🚪 Metal T-Style Entry Door Catch for Camper Trailer Motorhome – WINOMO RV Door Holder Review

Would give five points if unit came with screws but as it doesn't, I would like to give no stars me and it didn't even come on time when it should thank how can I put this on my camper without screws and also the fact that there are no instructions doesn't help and it's ok, but i will figure it out on my own thanks for the metal though really good job

This door latch looks more durable than traditional factory installed plastic latches but is quite clumsy and cumbersome to dispose of. The leg is so strong and stiff that it cannot slide smoothly into the traffic jam. So when you try to unhook the door, sometimes you have to try to reach the door with both hands to unhook it. The base plate consists of 2 parts, plastic (black) and then a metal center channel. It's not what I expected, but it works, too well.

Ordered 2, one did not engage due to a manufacturing defect. I informed them and they promptly sent me 2 more. They work great, just spend some time setting them up before drilling the first hole. I had the same plastic latches on my RV, but a light breeze closed the doors. I started placing them in the same spot before realizing they needed to be in different spots and angles than the original latches.
