Great product so far!

Excellent wipes! We have tried many different brands for our coffee shop; One brand worked well but we had to use 2-3 wipes per table, the next ripped the polish off the tables, another smells like definitely not to be breathed in, just harsh chemicals and plastic smell. Not only does Wipex clean well, it's easy to use, doesn't smell like harsh detergent and only requires one wipe per table! A great benefit for the small business owner where every cent counts ^_^

WAY Overpriced Housewares Item

Our company uses them all the time. But they are NOT a bargain. Even at just $0.029 ($29 for 1,000) per napkin, that seems high to me. The container they are in has a hinged lid. Once open it almost never stays closed again, so we seal it with tape and then just remove the lid every time we need to refill our little dispensers. They smell good, have enough moisture and do their job. I think $20 for a bath would be a much more reasonable price than $29.

  • Handy Item
Cons
  • So Far So Good

Doesn't work well enough

I bought these for home use, not sure if they will ever be used in a restaurant. When you take them out of the container they come out crumpled, you have to take the time to open the sheet to use them and they are not wet enough. Also, you need to use three or four wipes to get the job done that you are used to with just one Clorox wipe. I've tried giving up Clorox wipes because of the chemicals, but they're not a good enough substitute. The odor is normal, very faint.

Cons
  • I really have no complaints about this, everything is fine

Suitable for home use but restaurant use is questionable

We have a child with celiac disease and run a mixed kitchen. I wipe down countertops all the time and wanted something chemical free. These towels seemed to fit the bill. We keep them on the counter for easy use. They smell nice and do the job, but I usually use two if I'm doing anything other than sweeping up crumbs. Usually the first napkin is a bit dry. I find it hard to believe that restaurants use a napkin to wipe the table. I definitely wouldn't want to sit there.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good overall, but questionable consistency

We use this product for my business which includes snacks and bottled coffee/beverages. It handles small stains well, but I wouldn't use it for large spills. The main issue I faced was its consistency. Some buckets come with wet towels (to the point that they need to be wrung out before use), others are so dry it takes two to wipe down a 6-tile table. I ordered it 4 times and received 3 different types of lids. When employees develop a technique to quickly dispense exactly one napkin and are…

  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Nice but not perfect.

I prefer natural cleaning products and natural fragrances so I have used a lot of Wipex products. I'm still waiting for them to bring back the vinegar floor wipes that I adored so much to use for many, many things! However, this product smells too strong. The clove and cinnamon combo can be great when used lightly, but it's not. The aroma can be heard when you open the lid. I like that the towels are wet rather than dry like gym towels, but they also leave a film that can be unsightly. I'll try
