Like strong suction

Very good suction. As big as a plastic barrel. The squat design is stable, the wheels are decent. The hose has a rotating collar at the end of the fitting, which is very convenient. The filter is very efficient. 2 complaints: 1) Stick extenders should have a clip to hold them - they tend to fall apart when in use. 2) The top doesn't fit in the bucket as well as it could. If you carry it by the handle, if you hit it with your foot or something else, some dust or something will come out of the…

No bag really sucks

I want to totally love this vacuum cleaner but not being able to use a bag is very frustrating. I hook it up to my tool in the wood shop to collect dust and I have a dust collector between the vacuum and the tools. It starts to lose suction pretty quickly as the dust just clogs right away. I'll try one of the filter bags and see if that helps. Plus, it moves an absolute ton of air. Shop Vac far superior at a much better price. I like that the hose is attached with a clamp rather than friction…

The suction power is amazing. Roles are a joke.

Well designed vacuum cleaner for shop and home. The ability to lock the tubes with a rubber condom holding the extensions together is awesome. The suction power is amazing, that crazy driveway cleaning this morning is a breeze (no pun intended). So why only 4 stars? Roll. They're attached to everything and can't even flip their own cable without looking like a flipped R2D2 (insert relevant scene). Fortunately, the lid stays closed in this case, but suffice it to say that it doesn't bother. So I

Beast Shop vacuum cleaner is the best of the power and hand tools

I have used a car vacuum for many years. I was in the process of buying a gutter cleaning tool and realized I needed more power. Hrrrrrrr. So I went in search of a 6.5 hp vacuum cleaner. Found. Saw the 16 gallon size and thought a shop vacuum was a shop vacuum right? The doorbell rang, I looked out and saw this box the size of a freezer. What the hell did I order? 😂😂 This thing is MASSIVE! A shop vacuum cleaner is therefore not a shop vacuum cleaner. This is a shop vacuum cleaner of all shop…

strong, loud and customizable.

I was a big miser and handyman. I needed a good, powerful yet inexpensive vacuum to clean my workspace, attic, wood dust, carpets and more. So far this is a very good product. The suction is very strong, so strong that the corners of the carpet are pulled right out of the brackets. I've also used it to install on a large trash can to clean up my attic after removing blown insulation to replace it with carpet. With filters in order you can do the most. It's big and bulky so I keep it in the…

Don't mess around. Buy this and move on!

That's what I call a vacuum cleaner! Vacuuming the dirt out of your home, car, boat, or van is an ordeal at the best of times. Dealing with an underpowered vacuum is annoying because all the time you're spending with it, you could be doing right. I have bought many vacuum cleaners over the years and never said WOW. Til today. My workshop vac arrived and I was thrilled to cheer on this little one and see if she could really do what she said. First let me point out that one of the most exciting…

So worth the money!

I'm a bit of a cleaning freak and the fine dust produced when sanding drywall/gypsum is my biggest enemy. In years past I would just grab whatever vacuum cleaner I could find at my local big store and get frustrated with their inability to remove drywall dust. Then I decided to do a little research and this vacuum showed up on a couple of DIY sites as reliable drywall vacuums, so I gave it a try. I took the extra step of ordering a fine filter to fit this unit and got it up and running the…

IF YOU BURNED BY THE SHOP VAC.

PREVIOUS SHOP VACUUM CLEANER: I used to have a shop vacuum very similar to this WORKSHOP. Like many of them, it broke down and eventually stopped working. However, I've put this previous shop vacuum through hell without regularly cleaning the filter or the separate bag inside the vacuum. Aside from the fact that my previous Shop Vac had stopped working, which I was able to find out after 3+ years of hell, there were a few things that I either considered cheap components or just let down in…

Hold-On Tight. This machine has some suction power!

Well made product with excellent fit and finish. Just for the "Gee-Wiz," I extended the 12-foot hose that came with the kit and was able to draw water from my grandparents' old cistern because we didn't have a sump pump. I couldn't believe my eyes as the water began to shake the line as it rose and pooled in the vacuum's tank. If you're vacuuming hardwood floors or garage floors, be aware that if you set it up at the right angle it will want to stick to the floor and you'll have to pry it up…

Great vacuum that could be improved

Overall this is a good vacuum that works as intended. Positive: The suction power is very good. It has enough power for everything I throw at it, from fine dust to construction debris and liquids. It's easy to empty the bin and change or clean the filter after you're done vacuuming. Two clamps release the engine head from the collector, and a central handle makes it easy to lift the engine and access the filter. The device is stable and does not tip over easily because the wheels are far apart…
