This would be a five star review cause I absolutely love this thing. Makes having a stationary humidor obsolete. But the rubber that ensures proper seal just came out, no real coaxing just noticed it started to a tad so I pushed it back in hoping it was just that one part not secured but poof it all fell out. Great humidor depending on what size cigars you smoke you might be able to put more than 10 in the case. Easily holds 10 big ones. Obviously the case is somewhat bulky but fits in by carry on luggage nicely when traveling and keeps them from getting damaged. The built in humidifier is the green "potting foam" or plant foam but does an ok job of holding enough glycol to keep the cigars humidified for about a week. It does drip easily on the cigars if you overfill it though. Good product…

Always quality when it comes to Xikar, but the humidor does not fit that many cigars, if you try to fit that many it will crush them. Maybe if you have the thinnest sticks on earth, but any regular sticks you are not fitting what they quote. Two layers at most of good gauge, so maybe 8 sticks.

Got this as a gift for the cigar lover in my life and needless to say he as 3 now. He loves the look of them as they do not look cheap or poorly made - it is not poorly made - very durable and travels well! If he ever needs a 4th one, he wouldn't buy anything else but Xikar.

Good sized cigar container to bring around with you on occasion. I throw in my torch and cutter since I don't pack it all the way. It feels a little weak but it does the job and I am satisfied by it.

I have a smaller case of the same brand but was needing one for a week long vacation. This perfectly fit the bill. The case can be difficult to close correctly.

Box that should hold 10 sticks only hold 5 the size of Monti #2. Maybe it holds 10 small cigars but nothing of a larger size.Description says made in USA but there is a sticker on the bottom that says made in china. Boo

Like all Xikar products that I've purchased, I really love this thing. Factor in their lifetime warranty and buying from Xikar is a no brainer.

Bottom line: A great case. I actually own two of these, a 5 cigar carrier and the ten. Seals tightly (sometime so tightly that you need a coin to pry open). Protects cigars perfectly.The 5 cigar carrier is great for a golf bag; the larger 10 cigar model, good for a trip. Love the product. Highly recommended.

I haven't take it on a trip yet but I put a few cigars in it for 2 weeks to see how it would keep them and they are even better in this than in my regular humidor. might be time for a replacement there. this is a high quality case, very solid, nice seal. The inside cigar divider is kind of cheap spongy material but maybe that's so the humidity can get through it. other than that just love it.

This is a great size for a travel case. The case is very sturdy as well. I am a fan of Xikar products. This is convenient to travel with, can fit almost anywhere. I also like it because i can fill it and put it in the console of my truck and have a cigar with me at anytime.

The construction is great. I have no doubt that my cigars will stay safe and protected from virtually anything while also maintaining a sufficient RH.However, I will be returning the case because the description is no where near accurate. This will NOT hold 10 standard sized cigars. It didn’t matter which ways I tried to pack it, there was no way I could fit more than 8 without starting to crush them. On paper, it is a nice travel case, but when I used it on a plane, it was horribly difficult to open, due to expansion because of air pressure. The same thing happened when I returned home. I called the company, to no avail. I ended up drilling a very small hole in the case. This worked. Since then, I've seen other cigar travel cases that had a button you push, and that releases the trapped air inside the box. I strongly recommend buying one of those!

Great way to take cigars on trips. I Wish I had gotten these sooner, makes traveling with stogies a piece of cake! I can take a weeks worth of cigars, my lighter and a boveda humidity pack in here and be all set. I tuck it into my checked luggage and no worries about crushed cigars or drying out on vacation. I’ve gotten where I just keep several cigars in here year round and just change out the small boveda pouch as needed. I’m ready to grab and go at a moments notice.

What did i expect, opened tge package (envelope) and when i opened the clasp it snapped off! Again you get what you pay for!Lol then i notice tge foam on tge inside looks like it had been chewed on! Nice case. This is my second one. Still confused about the padding and how it is positioned but I will figure that out. It's really not a humidor it is more of a carrying case. Be mindful of that

Perfect size for traveling or carrying cigars around. The humidifier works perfectly and there is space for accessories (cutter, punch & lighter). A must have for any cigar smoker!
