I bought two expensive electronic alarms and they weren't working well and my mailbox is only 30 meters straight from home. This warning flag is safe. They advertise that it's for the elderly, the disabled, and the lazy. I'm in the last category.

Okay, this might sound like a no-brainer, but we LOVE this flag! Our mailbox is walking distance from our house, and some days we make the walk several times.
