Ready-to-Play Set: Inclusive of four trays for tile storage, four dice, a set of betting sticks, and an east wind tessera (for determining seating placement); The compact black vinyl case measures 11.2 x 7.3 x 2 inches (28.5 x 18.5 x 5 centimeters); Entire set weighs 5.5 lbs(2.5kg). Great item, bad case

Item matches the description and no missing tiles have been found so far. However, the cases are very fragile. Some of these even come to me damaged, to a point they are unusable and need to be replaced with homemade ones (because waiting for a replacement takes too long). Recommended if you want a good inexpensive set but don't mind the containers as they are very fragile and can only be damaged or broken after a few uses if not damaged first. I recommend making a similar handcrafted caseโ€ฆ

A simple set but does the job.

Arrived on time, in good condition and unopened. The tiles are of good weight, solid and resistant to accidental mishandling (e.g. the tile falling off the table) that occurs in normal games. They are etched, mostly in a nice color except for the green which is too dark. On the other hand, betting sticks, dice and an anemometer appear to be more fragile as they are lighter and sometimes have an excess of plastic or paint. The bones in particular are quite small. Not small enough to climb up and

Exactly what I wanted - a riichi mahjong set. I have other American and Chinese sets, but I specifically wanted a red five set to play Japanese Riichi Mahjong. Yes, the set is made in China, but it's designed to play Japanese Mahjong. The tiles have a good density, look bulky and make a solid impression so far. Some betting sticks had excess coating that needed cleaning. However, great value for money. Some people might be put off by the fact that there are no numbers/letters in the corners ofโ€ฆ
