Disappointed with the performance

Zheino 120GB SSD packed well, including SATA cable and looks high quality; but it has the worst performance among the 12 brands (120GB-512GB SATA/M.2) I installed and used with ATTO for benchmarking. Brand new, no boot OS installed, the read/write performance is excellent, but even after the initial OS installation, the performance is completely unstable and even shows up during boot. I've tried it on 3 different computers but it's always the same so I don't use it. Most SSDs wear out over time

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Ideal hard drive for OS updates in older PCs

Attached CrystalDiskMark - decent performance for the current price of $21. Doesn't outperform high-performance SSDs, but at a much lower price. Question to the vendor: I want to install one on an early SATA II PC (used daily) that does NOT have an AHCI (and therefore no native TRIM). Support). I understand it will be limited to <300MB/s but I'm concerned about further performance and reliability degradation over time due to lack of TRIM NCQ etc.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Some nuances

Good price and it works!

I had no problems with this device. I bought it to migrate Windows 10 from my traditional hard drive to an SSD to launch and run apps faster. My Zheino 360GB SSD does exactly what I bought it for. I chose 360GB because it was slightly larger than my hard drive and it's not expensive. You will need to order a bracket for it so that you can mount it in the 3.5" drive bay when installing on a desktop PC.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Bought two, both died within 12 months

This is an SSD, looked good initially. Loved it at first. I bought two. I put them on my computer, sometimes I used them. Both died within 12.5 months. A full 100 is unresponsive and not recognized by the OS, the other is visible to the OS driver but refuses to be recognized by Computer Manager disks. They were cheap, I think we got what we paid for. I would not recommend them to anyone who values their time or data. Pay a little more for something more reliable.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

7 months failed.

Used the MacBook about 10-15 times for no more than 1 hour at a time. Apple has stated that the older system requires a Safari update. The computer no longer started. Replaced the Zheino drive and restarted the system backup and the computer worked again. I tested the Zheino drive on Windows after reformatting and that was it, but it stopped working after testing 7% of the surface. To be honest I had a failure of another brand SSD in another laptop but it lasted 2 years. I tried the warranty…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Some problems
