Review on Bread Wallet by Stephen Toluwani

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bread wallet is great but still needs a little work done on its in-app exchange

The Bread wallet is a Crypto asset holder that is able to hold different blockchains underlying assets. The wallet is hosted as an Android application and has received a lot of good reactions which is due to its multi features. Starting with the wallet requires no user personal information for the sign up process, gives the users access to their private keys. The wallet supports a lot of cryptocurrencies and Tokens, has an in-app crypto exchange which really needs to be worked upon as it's order book is very tight and no much volume recorded.
Among it's features, I mostly preferred its style of shielding user wallet balance for BitcoinCash from privy eyes by regenerating new deposit Address after every transaction, the best part is that, the previous wallet address can still be used in receiving a transaction. The wallet also has its native token BRD which is an ERC-20 compliant token. The utility of this token is very vast and gives the wallet users earning opportunities. The wallet has a very good user interface, so new users won't find it hard to navigate
It's really a great wallet, considering all it's features and ease of usage, I can recommend the wallet to anyone

Pros
  • The onboarding process on Bread wallet requires no personal data.
  • Holding the native token of the Bread wallet BRD is quite rewarding as each amount held pays different rewards
  • The wallet supports many coins and tokens, it's really a versatile wallet.
  • In-app coin Exchange makes easy swapping ones Crypto for another
  • There is a level of anonymity given to it's BitcoinCash wallet addresses as they regenerate new ones after receiving a transaction
Cons
  • In the wallets exchange, coins being traded has a low volume and price is usually inflated
