Users should be much aware Steem Freewallet isn't a supported wallet used on steemit blockchain as there have been lots of complication with users transaction which are not proceed in general there are lots of shortcomings that made steemit withdraw it token support from the platform, which includes wallet non compatibility with Steem token in terms of proceeding transactions.
Users should note that Steemit blockchain have their embedded internal wallet which can be assessed directly on its platform so no need for users to look for external wallet where they can store the steem token I've been using steemit platform for several months now.
Steem Freewallet in general used to be a well recognize and recommended storage wallet for storing token, for now I wouldn't recommend the wallet to any user as multiple compliant have been filled by users both on social platforms and on review sites although it's social team seems to be active they make sure users compliant are looked into.
The team calm to provide users with flexible service like easy to sign up using social media handle like facebook, and email compatible with both mobile device downloaded form google play store with easy to backup keys although it a custodian wallet which actually makes it quite opposite from steemit blockchain being a decentralized platform users are in total control of their account and wallet.
The wallet seems to be fully operating I wouldn't recommend for now, there are much better option and other wallet with good service so users are always advise to make necessary research before making any transaction on the wallet.
