Review on Computer headset HyperX Cloud Orbit S, black by Adam Trela ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, more pros than cons.

Even despite the marriage (defect? fragility?), the hand does not rise below four stars. Still great sound Has some pros: First of all, of course, the sound. The sound is excellent, after all planars from Audeze. It is very pleasant to play games, listen to music, and watch movies in them. Comfort. On my head (quite large) they sit like a glove. The pressure on the head is perfect, the ear pads fit perfectly. People with small heads may have problems, but for me the convenience was beyond praise. I wore it for days without getting tired. They work "out of the box" in windows, linux and on android, just plug in the cable and everything starts up. I liked the feature with virtual 3D sound from Waves. For some, this will be a useless whistle, but I really liked it. Cons below: The fact that they have their own DAC - for those who do not have a good sound card or headphone amplifier, this will be a plus, for me rather a minus. Especially when you consider that this DAC is slightly noisy. Noise is more of a nitpick, it can only be heard in a quiet room and without sound in the headphones themselves, and in general it is most noticeable when the headphones are turned on and off. The second minus follows from this: the headphones have a built-in battery (despite the lack of bluetooth), and you cannot send sound through the AUX cable bypassing your own DAC, i. E. on a discharged battery (unlike most bluetooth headphones with aux input) you can’t listen to music. But these are shortcomings that can be overlooked, given that these are the cheapest planar ears from Audeze (especially considering that I got them on a discount for 17k, including bonus from the store). Now the minus for which I took off a star. After (almost) a month of use, a rustle appeared in one of the headphones when moving or pressing the bowl. The same problem was with many who unsubscribed here, she did not pass me. It seems that the sound did not get worse from this, and if you sit still, you can’t even hear the rustle, but a) it’s a shame, b) it’s not a fact that it won’t get worse in the future. Now I sent it in for repair under warranty, we'll see
