Review on Smartphone Xiaomi POCO M5s 4/64 GB RU, Dual nano SIM, blue by Mateusz Jamroz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Quick and nimble in commonplace applications (like a navigation, a savings account, or YouTube, for example). I don't play games. After using my old phone, I am blown away by how quickly this phone can charge and how long a charge can remain on it. You are no longer required to bring a charger along with you. When compared to the previous screen on the Redmi Note 5, the Amoled screen is a huge improvement. Crisp and succulent. People write a lot on the internet that eyes become tired of amoled, and if you switch on dc-dimming, the colors will be distorted. This is something that you should keep in mind when using an amoled display. No matter how hard I tried, I was unable to distinguish anything between the on and off states of the dc-dimming operation. Therefore, I made it so that it stays on permanently. Refresh rate of the screen is 60 Hz. Most likely not for gaming use. The CPU at this location is obviously not suitable for gaming. The smartphone is not intended to be used for gaming in general. Disliked the use of the camera. Even on the previous generation of the Redmi Note 5, it seems to have been improved. The photographs have been oversharpened, making them excessively sharp and causing glare in the viewer's eyes. The visual is even more disturbing than the audio; everything is jagged and wavering. Perhaps something can be coaxed out of thin air by tinkering with the settings, but there's not much room for creativity here. A different button is used to enable the 64 MP mode. And from what I've gathered, I believe that such a high resolution is achieved artificially. If you take the picture using the Raw mode (and this camera supports Raw!), then the dimensions of the picture will be 4608 by 3456, which is equivalent to around 16 megapixels. The actual dimensions of the matrix are as shown above. When raw is obtained, the geometry is severely distorted, and the color palette is blue-green. On the other hand, if you have Photoshop, you can play around with it and have some fun. Because I don't use the front camera, I don't have much to say about it. The sound is stereo, yet the speaker on the bottom is significantly louder than the speaker on the top. There is a headphone jack measuring 3.5 millimeters. In keeping with the "best" traditions of MIUI, all standard applications have a significant number of advertisements. On the other hand, all of this can be disabled, and there is a wealth of material on the internet that explains how to do so. If you start recording a conversation and then switch on the audio warning for the other person, they will know that the chat is being recorded since they will hear the warning. I marked a five with a minus sign for this amount of money. My expectation was that the camera would be of higher quality. And finally, a standard telephone.

Pros
  • nimble in the ordinary uses of normal life. There is no letup in the pace. Amoled display with direct current dimming. Charges at a rapid 33W. The battery is able to last for a significant amount of time. At the very least, I have two days. Included are a silicone case, a protective film to go over the screen, a charger, and a cord. There is room for two SIM cards and a micro SD card in the slot, in addition to a separate slot for the micro SD card.
Cons
  • Camera.
