I expected a tighter seal, but these are good.

I did expect a tighter seal when I purchased these, I bought 3 in 2 different sizes. They are a nice clear plastic, and I washed them by hand before usage. I don't know if they will cloud up in the dishwasher yet. I think I prefer glass Ball jars and vacuum sealing, but I will use these for our RV.

Cons

The canister is not suitable for storing foods that require a zinc-free container

The small tall is the right size for a standard package of coffee beans, about 10-13 oz in a bag or cylinder.I didn''t want the glass one because the size that is big enough is too bug in my opinion, and the glass will soon break on my granite counter top. Moreover, as you go through your coffee beans, you will be reaching far down for the handle. Too risky.Overall, a great design and very practical.
