Review on Electric scooter MIDWAY i- Max PRO gray (18000 mAh, up to 40 km/h, 600 W) by Boyan Denkov ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

The listed shortcomings are, of course, my subjective opinion, given that the instructions clearly state that the scooter is not for off-road use, it is prohibited to operate on flat surfaces and in dry weather, it is prohibited in rain and puddles. Nevertheless, I share my feelings from getting to know this miracle. Well, is it really only to ride on the parquet, well, why is this needed at all? )) (: after a while, I got used to it, yes there are vibrations when driving over bumps, I slow down, I try to go around as much as possible and, in principle, it’s normal) About depreciation. In the first revisions, the front was with a spring and a problematic plastic bushing, there was little sense, in the latest versions there is no depreciation at all. On the one hand, it’s better than with a problematic hub, on the other hand, I want to see a normal reliable system for both wheels. There is no driving comfort, except on smooth asphalt, and even on public roads you still need to look for it. And, given the low speed and lack of a seat, such a hindrance in the general flow is not needed (although I myself often go out onto the roadway and keep as far to the right as possible). The scooter is designed for footpaths, parks and bike paths, if you can find the latter. Outcome. As a scooter for riding in the park alone or with a child, the best of the best. 5 stars out of 5. Like a scooter for driving around the city, home-work-home, average. 3 stars out of 5. How to combine scooter rides in the park and drive from kindergarten to work with a child is quite a good option. 4 stars out of 5. You can look at the Koogo M5 or at least the M4 Pro, there is more comfort and a seat in the kit, but there are some nuances, the quality is worse and a lot of improvements are required, and in general they are like a Zhiguli, you have to constantly dig into them.

Pros
  • One-piece, solid construction, gives confidence. Beautiful design. It pulls uphill without problems, for example, climbing a bridge, I often overtake passing xiaomi, ninbots and some kugs. Acceleration to 40 km / h, up to 30 km / h accelerates easily and briskly, with a rider weight of 90 kg, but it doesn’t reach the maximum speed so briskly, and then gps rarely shows 38-39. Capacious battery and strong motor (for a park scooter). Spacious, it is easy to accommodate a child, the dynamics are slightly reduced, but you don’t need to drive with children. Comfortable steering wheel, large informative display. Rubberized deck, it is non-slip and easy to wipe off dirt.
Cons
  • - Lack of depreciation. - Clearance in the region of 7 cm, which is very small with a long deck. Practically no "speed bump" will be able to pass without scratching the soundboard, curbs are generally a nightmare. - Weak waterproofing. (: Not weak, the scooter passed the test with big water, twice and several times with light rain. Recently it got under heavy rain and I had to ride through large puddles, and one section uphill, so there was a large flow of water and the scooter made its way through the water along the very deck, which was covered with waves, was scary, but fortunately the scooter is alive and well. But I don’t want to repeat this) - Rear wheel motor. Following the pressure in the tire, without even driving the first hundred km, I damaged the chamber and tire, the replacement price is 3500r. And no matter how hard you try to drive carefully, in our country there are such roads that you will have to change or glue the camera every 2-3 trips. What can be seen by reading the forums. As a rule, the main load goes to the rear wheel, there is also a motor, well, I don’t understand how you can not do depreciation. : when checking the pressure in the chamber, it is still possible to protect the wheels from damage, so the first impression is a bit wrong, I just overlooked it from the beginning and got it for repair.
