Review on Upgrade Your Business Communications with ๐ŸŽฅ Microsoft LifeCam Cinema 720p HD Webcam in Black by Jim Ball

Studio webcam, very good.

Microsoft LifeCam Cinema is a great entry-level camera for those looking to host webcasts in small spaces or Skype sessions. The 720p resolution and TrueColor capabilities set this camera apart from most other brands and types in the 720p space. The advantage of this camera is that it works as soon as you connect it to your computer (PC/MAC). When installing the drivers on a Windows PC, the correct drivers will be automatically detected/downloaded/installed. And you can, it seems, start working with it right away. The bad news is that if you have more than one LifeCam (studio/cinema) on the same computer, you'll quickly find that you can't run two at the same time. You have to experiment with your situation if you want to use more than one Microsoft LifeCam per computer. I'm using TeleStream WireCast (4.3) and I'm still having trouble using a studio and film camera at the same time. Partly because these types of webcams use the bandwidth of your USB bus, the solution to this problem is to add an additional USB bus with the new USB PCI/PCI Express extension. Now, in most end-user cases, you will probably only need one camera. If you like LifeCam and want to use more than one at a time, you're in the lucky or unlucky category. The lucky ones who have computers with high-end USB controllers (so POSSIBLY use more than one LifeCam) are the unluckiest. The mic on this camera is great, it picks up my webcast voice remotely and automatically controls the volume for close-ups. Autofocus is very stable when taking close-up shots of electrical components. You can control the focus and also use the digital zoom. All in all a good USB HD webcam.
