Reliable controller, after a little tweaking

After years of use and abuse, the left joystick surface on my F510 has fallen apart and now feels uncomfortable in my hand, so I've decided to try wireless. Reviews about problems with Windows 10, I decided to try and see what all the problems were because I am a sysadmin by profession. Lo and behold, I plugged the nano receiver into the front USB, removed the sticker from the battery, and the remote turned on, and after a few seconds, Madden 21 was playing (yes, I know). No problem with Windows 10, shown just below the devices. For some reason the Logitech gaming software I use for my mouse doesn't show this device AND the mouse nano receiver doesn't accept the controller which makes sense that "universal" nano receivers are a bug are because I need them are both connected to separate USB ports. Well, one issue I've had to contend with is range. TERRIBLE! I'm literally sitting two feet and the same height from my gaming pc with the receiver in front and this thing lags, doesn't recognize most double clicks and drops the connection, it's just bad. I finally figured out what the usb cable extender in the box was for lol. I took an extension cord out of the box, under the keyboard and right in front of me with a nano receiver on it, now the BAM remote no longer lags and behaves the same as the F510, only heavier (this is where Duracell batteries in the kit help instead ) and without cables and with much weaker vibration. For 30 bones you can't go wrong. --> awGuru.com Pros -> Wireless, no setup required, seems reliable as always Cons -> Stuttering unless set as above, little vibration compared to F510

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • iffy
