Checks the boxes - my new review

I compared cases online for a long time. I wanted one that protected the sides all the way around the edge, instead of leaving it exposed. Isn’t the point of a case for protection? I also wanted a stand built in that was adjustable. A keyboard was another desire, but it needed to be detachable, so I could lose extra bulk when unneeded. Light up keys were a bonus. This checked all the boxes and more. The only thing I wish is that I could prop it up vertically with the stand as well. As it is, it isn’t practical. Not a deal breaker at this point though. The keyboard is nice to use, the keys have a nice little click. The color options are neat. I have the whole thing set to a light blue. The case is easy to adjust angles, and doesn’t fall out of place - the magnet is fairly strong. My apple pen magnetizes to the top fine, but I typically store it in the slot (a slot was another must), as I don’t want to lose such an expensive accessory. It does charge when on the top, but occasionally I have to pop it off and on again, as the case adds a little more distance from the charging mechanism to the pen, to get it to start charging. The little holes are for putting your pen in, for example I suppose if you’re in the middle of drawing and want to take a sip of coffee. I don’t use my pen often enough to really make use of this feature, but it’s neat to have the option.Taking the case on and off takes a minute, and I don’t do it often as I’m afraid of putting strain in the connector, but it’s had no issues. You don’t have to attach it to use the keyboard.

Pros
  • The case is extremely durable, protecting your IPad Pro 11 from scratches, dings, and bumps that can occur during everyday use
Cons
  • The case may be difficult to install or remove

I absolutely love, i think the only thing i would love better is if the keyboard actually charged from my ipad like previous models did, this one you have to plug in separate which just makes for more cords. But overall works fantastic even when separated from pad to the side keeps typing away with no lag!
