High Hopes - Low Yield

If you plan to use this scanner for anything other than scanning a flat sheet of paper, I would suggest using your trusty flatbed scanner instead. I've personally tried scanning book pages, magazine articles, and anything that had an image I wanted to capture. The device is not configured to capture a full page of books, magazines, etc. The scanner window cannot capture an image of a book page - about an inch and a half is lost through the binding - no matter which way. I bought this item to enable single page scanning, especially of books. Attaching a book to a flatbed scanner works much better. Once the picture is taken, the clarity is good, but unfortunately not complete.
