With the release of dozens, a good Philips webcam stopped working. I had to buy Logitech. Since C110 has been working on the second computer for many years, we bought C170 without hesitation. Since these cameras have a mount to the monitor, "better not touch it" was hung on the monitor and did not touch it. At some point, the microphone just stopped working. At first I sinned on the OS, tried all the options to configure, but after reading the reviews I realized that the problem, like everyone else, was a bad soldering of the chip. The cost of repair is more expensive than a normal camera. At work, the craftsmen tried to solder the chip on the machine (as recommended on the specialist forums), it did not work. Soldering the diode revived the microphone a little, but a crack appeared, I had to solder it off. I don’t trust Logitech anymore, I’ve slid down to the level of the know-name of China.
