Review on MasterBox Q300L Micro-ATX Tower with Magnetic Dust Filter, Acrylic Side Panel, Adjustable I/O & Ventilated Airflow, in Black by Jnis Pimberis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

As soon as I saw this case, I immediately fell in love and realized that I would choose it for my new assembly. But at that time they were out of stock in all stores. After almost a month of empty wandering around ebay, the cases finally appeared in stores again and I immediately ordered it. The composition of the system is as follows: MP - Asus B450M TUF Pro gaming CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (exactly without K, since it is cheaper and even slightly more profitable in overclocking) RAM - 2x8 Kingston HyperX Predator 3200Mhz Bag - Cooler Master 212 Hyper Black edition SSD - Samsung 860 Evo 500Gb HDD - WD 3Tb Green GPU - GTX1070 Aorus Extreme Carlsons - 2x140 BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 (one PWM, one normal) for blowing, 1x120 BeQuiet Silent Winds 3 for blowing. PSU - Cooler Master G650M LGBT - 2 DeepCool RGB 110 Plus Tapes He approached the cable management very carefully, so that right feng shui, even in the background, he managed to get rid of the mess of wires and put everything with a touch of perfectionism. I had to tinker with some wires, not everything was stretched as perfectly as we would like, but the final result made me very happy. The result is a cool, quiet, modern and stylish looking system in a compact package. I played around with the backlight and decided to stop at the usual white glow. It can be very well placed on the "corner" faces, so it is not visible at any angles, only the light from it is visible. An important point. The manufacturer's website says that the case supports bags up to 157mm high. When choosing a tower, I started from this size. The declared height of the CM 212 Hyper Black is 158.8, that is, I already risked that it would not fit. In fact, he climbed with a margin of about 5mm more, that is, if you really want to, you can choose towers up to 163mm. Let's say BeQuiet Dark Rock 4 will fit, and this is already a very powerful air. I considered only the air, although the body is excellent friends with rather rather big dropsies.

Pros
  • Great look. Simultaneously simple and stylish. Harmoniously fit into the interior. Great opportunities for modding. Good ventilation. Compactness and the possibility of horizontal placement.
Cons
  • Everyone says that the transparent plastic cover is strongly scratched. Haven't scratched it yet, but obviously people are right - it's not tempered glass. The wires are short. In my setup (the location of some connectors on the motherboard and just such an orientation of the case panel with buttons), the USB 3.0 wire barely reached straight, tight and tight. For me, 1 slot for 3.5 HDD is not enough, but I decided that I would get by, this is a solvable problem.

The case cost 3077 with bonuses. I consider the purchase worthwhile.
