Review on Camera Canon PowerShot G15 by Makoto Arihori ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

In AUTO mode, the auto selection of focus points works fine, (intuitively guessing the subject), although this does not affect the quality of the pictures, the very “Canon” zest is missing (the pictures are not tasty, if I may say so) front. If you print photos 10x15, then there are no questions. For those who picked up a CANON camera for the first time, the attached instructions will obviously be missed. Whoever this is not the first acquaintance will understand that, in fact, there is nothing new there. Settings are missing. The camera is more suitable for those who do not like to think, but like to use one button. I am a supporter of CANON, but NIKON p7700 won this race.

Pros
  • One of the advantages of the G15 camera is a quick start. (when compared with Nikon p7700) Good display (the fact that it is not rotatable is more of a matter of taste) Dimensions allow you to carry it in your pocket, and it's convenient. The camera can be operated with one hand. Not heavy, fits comfortably in the hand. That's probably all.
Cons
  • The lens aperture is highly questionable and looks more like a publicity stunt by the company. Camera settings are comparable to a cheap "soap box". From the pre-installed options, the necessary ones disappeared ("Landscape"), and instead of them the unnecessary ones appeared. ("Poster", "Toy Camera") If anyone needs such modes, he will shoot on the "mobile". CANON colors do not solve the issue of sharpness, it is not enough in comparison with p7700.
