I have a looped carpet and the bottom of these putting cups grab onto the carpet and can unhinge the individual metal flaps that tip up and down to allow the ball into the cup. This makes them a little tough to move around with your foot if you want to reposition them. Not the most durable but I don''t think I spent a lot on them so probably an ok value for the money.
