Review on Logitech iPad Keyboard with Lightning Connector in White - Wired by Brendan Thorpe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly recommended for both children and adults!

Last year, our school district gave all students iPad Air devices to help them study. My kids loved it, of course, but my youngest had trouble completing written assignments. So we experimented with a cheap keyboard and case I found locally, thinking that if it helped him we'd invest in a better keyboard in the future. This greatly improved his typing skills and task speed, so we decided to give him a much nicer keyboard before the new school year started. I started researching what to buy myself and to be honest I was overwhelmed with so many options. So I contacted one of the techs in the area and asked what he would recommend and this keyboard is exactly the link he sent me. Anyway, now that my son has been using it at home and school for a short time, I feel it's time to write my own review for those looking for similar products. Here's what you should know by now. 1. It doesn't come with a case. At first I wanted both, but after much research I found that very few met my expectations and none were in our price range. This keyboard connects to the iPad itself. You plug the cable into the charging port to turn it on. It's not Bluetooth. Our first was but I found we don't miss it at all. 3. It is very easy to use. My little friend is almost 10 years old, he is very fast with him and he loves it.4. It comes with a small list of shortcuts, so be sure to read it if you're interested. Otherwise, there are basic setup instructions, but even those are very basic. Plug and play.5. There is plenty of space to personalize it for yourself or your child. I wrote my son's name almost everywhere because it's the same keyboard that technicians use in schools. Keep the box the keyboard came in for your travel case. My son carries it to and from school in a box so it doesn't get damaged. You'll probably want to do the same if you have a kid using it. So I had to give 5 stars and would definitely buy it again if my other kids need it. It's easy to set up, use, and very durable, making it perfect for use on the go and in the classroom.
