Because of my poor eyesight I rely on audio books for all my 'readings'. similar properties. After reading reviews from different manufacturers, I decided on HOTT CD611. I've had the device for almost half a year now; I use it actively every day and I can say that I made a good choice. The sound quality is excellent, the volume is sufficient for my needs. The device uses batteries faster than my old CD player. Thankfully, I use rechargeable batteries, so other than the inconvenience of changing them often, it's not a big deal. On the other hand, the batteries are much easier to replace than on my old device. Opening the clamshell to swap drives can also be easier than it really is. In general, this is a quality product that should last for years.
