Review on Critter Spray Products 22032 118SG Siphon Spray Gun by John Beltran

game changer! suitable for painting, wall treatment and consumables

Bought this sprayer with the intention of painting kitchen cabinets because I wanted a smooth finish which I knew I could never get with a brush; The results were so good I ended up painting two vanity tops, 19 doors and a variety of trim materials with it, and with proper care I've never had to purchase a maintenance kit. My friend's mom paid a professional to paint her closets (with a brush) at the same time, and mine easily looks 5x better and is about $2,000 less. I can paint 15 full size doors in about 2 hours. There's a slight learning curve, but a little research before work helps a lot. There is overspray, but paper towels and plastic wrap can easily help contain the mess. My primer didn't spray as well as the paint, but you still need to sand lightly between the last coat of primer and the first coat of paint. I used Floetrol as an additive which I think also improved the paint flow. Make sure you strain the paint well before use and you will rarely get clogs and lessons from it. Don't pre-fill mason jars if you won't be using them for more than a day. When you use latex paint it is prone to curling around the rim and lids of jars and will only cause clogs. Purchase a separate bucket to mix paint with additive, strain and refill as you go.
