Summary: Display quality is good, but unless you have a fancy VESA mount, you CANNOT mount this monitor unless you take the monitor apart first. I bought it because I wanted to mount it on a VESA monitor arm. EVERY VESA mount I've had (1 wall mount, 1 single mount, 1 dual mount, and 2 handheld mounts at work) has a 4-bolt DUAL mount pattern - a wider set of 4 screws on the outside and a narrower set of 4 on the Inside. As mentioned in other reviews by surprised VESA buyers, the monitor stand mount will conflict with such mounts. The manual tells you straight out that you are out of luck and should buy another mount. You CAN remove the stand mount, but to do this you literally have to disassemble the monitor body. It's non-trivial and involves carefully prying open about ten plastic retainers with a screwdriver. If you repair Samsung monitors professionally, you could probably do it in three minutes. Doing this carefully took 15 by feel and never opened the two halves fully (couldn't figure out how to separate the top seam and didn't want to strain). I was able to gently insert a screwdriver to remove the faulty bracket, but I wish I had bought a different monitor instead.
