Perfect Solution!: my feedback

I used this to replace the (cheap) torn ties that were on the grill cover. Just a needle and thread and I was able to sew on the replacement mesh then put the clips on and secure the cover far more securely than it ever was with the clips. Just remember, this *is* nylon so you'll want to use a lighter, or some form of flame, to lightly melt the material's ends after you cut them and before you sew them on or apply the clips. This will keep the material from fraying over time.

Pros
  • Extremely handy for many uses
Cons
  • The plastic material may easily break or crack over time, compromising the safety of your personal items

They work! - my new review

I bought this kit for a bug out bag that I purchased here on ebay. The straps on the back pack were adjustable but that was it. I wanted the straps to have a quick release option to avoid having to adjust the straps every time I took it off or put it on. The combination of all three parts included in this kit worked out perfectly for what I needed. They do clip and unclip just fine. No play whatsoever. The nylon webbing seems pretty sturdy as long as you burn the edges after cutting them. The 1

Pros
  • Needed it for a cosplay fix up and got the job done
Cons
  • The buckles may slip or loosen with repetitive use, leading to potential loss or damage to personal items

Who'd of thought best in my review

I have an unusual need for this strapping -- his name is Jack and he is a hyperactive 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who loves to undo everything that needs to stay in place like the recliner cover, curtains, dog beds (I have 2 other dogs) and anything else he can lay his lips on.

Pros
  • Used for fanny bag making. Works perfect
Cons
  • The design may be too basic or generic, lacking unique aesthetic features

Strong webbing and quality buckel.

Strong webbing and buckels are fine quality. I used to fix a canvas case that the zipper failed and I made a strap to hold the case closed. The buckel is very easy to open and close.

Pros
  • They were exactly what I ordered
Cons
  • The buckles and straps may not be compatible with all types of luggage, backpacks, or pet collars, reducing their versatility

Good Value for 15 Flat Side Release Buckles

I purchased the Side Release Buckles to a) replace an outside umbrella strap that broke and to create a refrigerator safety latch to keep my grand-kids out. The 1" strap is very strong and the latches work well. The only note is that I needed to secure the strap around the female end of the latch to prevent it from coming off. The product works very well and is a very good value.

Pros
  • This was a great value and they are very easy to use and set up.
Cons
  • The buckles and straps may not be easy to replace or repair, making them less cost-effective over time

Just Garbage! for my opinion

I've been ordering these for a few years for dozens upon dozens of masks. The quality has always been decent until this last order. They are totally different buckles and the female end doesn't grab the strap at all which makes them worthless.

Pros
  • These buckles worked great for a repair project
Cons
  • The grip on the adjustable side is lacking. It slips and loosens when you try to keep something tight.

Good design - plastic could be a little more sturdy

For the price a very good deal. I don't see the plastic buckles holding up all that long on the road. But quick ship and easy to work with made up for this shortcoming. I don't even sew it. I use Gorilla glue to attach to buckle and that bond will hold longer than the plastic will.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • The plastic material may produce static electricity, leading to uncomfortable or irritating sensations when worn

Great Deal good for me

I bought this kit to make some costume sandals, and it was perfect! Good quality straps and buckles. I originally thought it came with 5 buckles, so when I received the item and it had 15, I was delighted. The strap material was very easy to sew and glue. Good for starting off, but you may need more strap material for larger projects.

Pros
  • Used this to replace a ripped strap on my son’s backpack. Perfect replacement.
Cons
  • The tri-glide slides may slip or move out of place with repetitive use, leading to an unstable attachment

Sturdy straps good for me

I used this product to make an adjustable strap for a top and I was disappointed because the buckles had no grip on them. I couldn’t make it adjustable due to the buckles not having a grip, so it’s just there for aesthetics and looks. The quality of the buckles aren’t amazing but it does the job. It gets stuck and not as smooth as other buckles. Other than that the product isn’t bad at all! The strap is pretty sturdy. I would continue to use the straps but ditch the buckles.

Pros
  • So far no complaints from my customers lol
Cons
  • The buckles and straps may not be suitable for high-impact activities, as they may easily break or fail

Buckles don’t hold much tension

Easy to set up and make the straps the size you need but under the slightest pressure the buckles come undone. The were not able to hold the smallest of objects under tension therefore this has been a waste of a purchase

Pros
  • Very handy set to help you create your own tie-down and security straps. Easy to use, too!
Cons
  • The plastic material may discolor over time, affecting the overall appearance of your personal items

Great for costume/cosplay making

Used this to creat for my Cammy cosplay, and it’s awesome! Definitely would suggest if you need buckles for a costume The webbing material may not be as strong as other options, making it less suitable for heavy-duty applications.

Pros
  • Strap is thin. Don't know how strong it is but it worked well for my application.
Cons
  • The webbing material may not be as strong as other options, making it less suitable for heavy-duty applications

Works great! Used to make a sling for my bow.

I used this to make a sling for my bow. I hand stitched it all together and it works great. Very sturdy for what I'm using it for.

Pros
  • They work.
Cons
  • The design may not offer adequate support or comfort for heavy or bulky items, leading to discomfort or strain

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't think it through.

Might be nice if you don't need to ever take the end that isn't adjustable on this item off since you actually have to permanently attach it to whatever you sew it onto but it didn't work great for what I was doing.

Pros
  • There are enough buckles etc but not enough FOR the amount of fasteners.
Cons
  • The plastic may become brittle in extreme temperatures or prolonged exposure to sunlight, rendering the buckles and straps useless

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Meets needs and expectations.

Everything is as advertised. Depending on your application, you may not *need* all of the parts. As with anything plastic, time may tell a different story.

Pros
  • Work well for my needs! Not for extreme conditions but are nice for the price. Hold well!
Cons
  • The buckles and straps may be difficult to clean, making them less hygienic for regular use

Beware Unraveling good for me

We were looking for an all in one product to make adjustable straps to add to back packs and stuff. The kit worked as expected, buckles fit and are sturdy.Great for the money and easy to use.The only draw back, as with these straps, is fraying at the cut ends. Extremely typical. So process the cut ends and get out there .

Pros
  • replaced two buckles on my pull golf cart, work great.
Cons
  • A bit flimsy, but doing the job so far.

Not UV resistant - my new review

I bought this strap kit a year ago for holding a UV protection cover over our pool heat retention cover at out AZ winter home. When we returned this year several of the straps had deteriorated to the point of breaking, and those that hadn't broke were stiff, and not ar from failing. The strap material was easy to work with, and didn't seem to stretch, and the buckles held up far, but if you are planning on having your straps exposed to daily sunshine, you may want to look at something that…

Pros
  • did what I needed to do and seems strong enough. no issues and I recommend them
Cons
  • The design may not be modern or trendy, limiting their appeal to younger audiences

Strong enough to be used on a backpacking pack

I was very impressed with how strong the nylon webbing was as I was having difficulty using a grommet punch to cut a hole in the webbing. I was able to accomplish the task and was impressed with its quality.

Pros
  • This is a good product, easy to use. It was shipped on time.
Cons
  • The buckles and straps may not be adjustable enough to fit all body types or sizes, limiting their usability

Just what I needed best in my review

The combination of buckles and strapping is perfect for tie-downs on top of motorcycle rear seat and side-cases. I can make them the size I need, and one end of the buckle is the right dimension to fit through the tie down brackets on these aluminum side-cases. Thanks.

Pros
  • Great without having to sew.
Cons
  • don't fit us size standards well

Very sturdy and useful product

This is exactly what i was looking for to complete my projects, backpacks or my grandchildren. This seller was quick to deliver a great product. would buy again in a minute.

Pros
  • my only thought is that I wish it were available in white.
Cons
  • The webbing straps may stretch or lose elasticity over time, affecting their durability

Working fine for the straps on my motor home cover

Bought these to replace a couple broken clips on my motor home's cover. They have held up well and I can pull the straps a little tighter than I used to with the old clips, which would sometimes come undone in the wind.

Pros
  • I love these and this about the 4th time I ordered them. I make fanny packs and it’s oerfect
Cons
  • The buckles and straps may not be suitable for outdoor use, as they may degrade quickly in harsh weather conditions
