However, the pull top lid on the can is difficult to open and the contents very liquid— How do you open it without spilling the food or potentially cutting yourself or both. I find cat food hard to review. Admittedly, easier than dog food, because my dog eats everything, but still difficult. My cat won't touch this, he just tries to cover it up and I can't say that I blame him. It smells terrible and is just a very liquid mush. Of course it's not returnable, I guess if it was the company would go out of business. Mr. Rocky is a senior and of late he hasn't seemed to care much for his tried and true food that he's eaten for years. He began leaving much of each serving in the bowl and lost some weight. I tried a couple of the BFF OMG cans, and he was wild for all of them. In fact, he's becoming a little too demanding. He goes for it in a really big way.

This food has a high liquid content. They call it gravy. There are finely minced chunks within the gravy. It has a mild scent that is closer to the chicken than the salmon. The color is a pinkish tan. My cats enjoyed this food okay, but it wasn't their favorite as it did take them longer to eat it.
