perfect cable protection, prevents my cat from chewing on the cable

My cat likes to chew on power cables. I have tried several cable cover products over the last 2 years. But nothing seems to stop my kitty from chewing on it. My biggest concern is that my kitty will get electrocuted while chewing on wires. I discovered this product a few days ago. My cable is flexible after installing the protector. My cat tried to chew at first but she can't chew the safety cord. She had to give up. It looks like my cat has lost interest in chewing my strings. wow i win What…

Withstands the heat of the engine compartment. Practice "burning " the ends.

Update: 12/10/21 Still holding up well under the hood. I have also used it in PC on my AIO hoses. I used the 1" to replace an old black loom that was falling apart around the motor. I used it and silicon tape to rewind it. I used all the standard zip ties/seat mounts from the factory wrap. It was easy to work with and looks looks better than an old loom that's falling apart It's only been a few days but I haven't had any problems with melting or warping I would recommend cutting it up into a…

Brilliant! for cable glands

I've spent a fortune replacing all the little cables in my Kindle, Echo Dot and phone charger. One of my cats can't help but gnaw holes in any string she can find no matter what. Until now. I attached this to a cable to see how it worked and found that she wasn't as interested in the cable as she used to be. Now all I have to do is attach it to whatever cord I can find to keep her and her safe. Depending on how often I wear them I'll probably have to order a different one, but it will be worth…

With that, we defeated the wild, playful kittens!

My daughter has adopted two wonderful rescue kittens. However, as kittens, they loved to play and chew, including phone charger cords, power cords and so on. While we've protected simple things like power cords from lights by simply wrapping them with tape and securing them in place, we couldn't find an option for some things that needed to be lying around, like a phone charger cord. That helped. However, we have found that if cats can figure out how to unplug the plug from the back of the cat…

Superior Cord Wrap

This is an excellent cord organizer and wrap. There are many sizes. They prevent cats from chewing on the umbilical cord as this changes the umbilical cord's size, thickness, texture and smell. Dogs? I am not sure. I can say they work for cats (ie against cat chewing) but I'm not sure they will work for dogs. 1/2" size: suitable for wrapping 3 standard electrical cords (round) such as computer power cords, Cat-5e LAN cords, telephone cords, etc. Maybe 4 would work too, but I've tried - a little

Keeps my cat from chewing through the wires!

Well, I have one of those cats that gnaws on power cords. I can't even describe how many cords she chewed through - alarm clocks, lamps, and all the cords to charge our phones. I was almost certain that one day I would find her roasted (just like Aunt Bethany's cat during the National Lampoon's Christmas break). I've tried chewable sprays and they seemed to get her to chew more. I bought braided charging cables for our phones. But I was hoping for ANY help to get her to stop chewing and then I…

A useful tool against cable clutter.

I bought this for two reasons, firstly I'm just trying to sort out the mess of cords I have and secondly to protect those cluttered cords from my new cat who likes to chew cords. It's too early for me to say it's catproof; I will say that my cat prefers to chew my exposed cords rather than the ones wrapped with it, but I've caught him trying to chew on it before and it doesn't look like it's going to hold up, if your cat would be determined. At least I can say it's a deterrent and I haven't had
