7.15 Degree taper and has 1-1/2 inch of taper per foot. User to repair or enlarge tapered holes to accept tie rod ends or ball joints. May also be used in a drill with a 1/2 inch chuck by removing the t-handle. Sold each.

wobbles when operated manually.

I think it's best to use a drill bit on a socket with a set of stops, I did my job as required finished with a little more care.Great item.

I hated buying a $100 tool for a job, but...

I hated buying a $100 tool for a job but I needed it and it worked great. I'm sure I'll be using it again and when I do I know I have the right tool for the job

It's time to reinstall the ball joint from the mold.

Ball joint reset time increased to about two minutes from a mysterious twenty minutes with questionable results. Used in a high torque drill press and lubricates the work piece during use and you get a fast, perfectly tapered ball joint seat. High-quality cutting edge with a very sharp set.
