I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

In general, these shortcomings are noticeable only during the initial setup of the router (and then if you are a fairly advanced user). Decide for yourself whether you need the ability to control the router via the Internet. If you need it, then there are certain nuances with it, you may have to get confused with setting it up a little more than just activating the corresponding menu item in the web interface. The main consumer is important for the stability of work, and the quality of Internet

Pros
  • The highlights will be compared with Keenetic Giga 2. The router is operated in a one-room apartment with an area of about 40 square meters. m. is located in its very center, the main consumers (computer, tv box, game console) are connected via LAN, a couple of mobile phones, a tablet, a laptop are connected via WiFi. Usually devices (wireless) are located at a distance of no more than 8 meters in a straight line from the router, through a maximum of one concrete wall. Asus has a larger physical size, a heavier case and a solid feel. I personally liked the design. The quality of communication (WiFi) is strongly affected by the loading of the air of neighbors' routers. In this regard, everything is fine with me, there are only about three or four networks in addition to mine, which is probably why in the whole apartment the speed does not drop below 90 m / bit from the declared 100 from the provider (Beeline) (on a 5 GHz network). By LAN cable, of course there are no problems. Asus' graphical interface is visually prettier, but that's a matter of taste. I didn’t experience any problems with the logic of the location of the menu items, but it works more “viscous” compared to the interface of the seven-year-old Keenetic. I was surprised by one moment: the procedure for registering each consumer device, assigning an ip address to it, was accompanied by an invariable reboot of the router (about two to three minutes). There are no such problems in Keenetic, everything is registered quickly and without reboots. Access to files on a USB 3.1 HDD connected via Samba did not cause any complaints. The access speed is much higher than in Keenetic (but there is usb 2.0). There were no issues with the print server either. The mobile application for ios of the current version at the time of 01/25/21 "Asus router", compared to the similar application my. Keenetic supports the brand of the web interface. The app is prettier but feels more "sluggish" compared to the keenetic app. From the obviously negative, I can note that often through the Asus application it is not possible to connect to the router via the Internet from the outside (for example, via the mobile Internet), there are no such problems with keenetic.
Cons
  • Viscous interface (web and mobile apps), frequent reboots when applying various settings, unstable connection to the router to control it from outside via a mobile app (but how often do you need it).

I didnt see good quality, solid disadvantages.

I did not expect the most important jamb from the eminent brand - reboots. In my opinion, failure to complete the main task is the worst thing that can accompany such devices :( I hope this is a marriage of a specific model. Different pros: High connection speed low ping, good transmitter power, Availability of USB 3.0 Cons below: Spontaneously reboots at a random time 1-2 times a week. This is especially unpleasant during a working day in the middle of a conference. In the logs at the same…

Not at all what I expected.

Constantly jumps speed and lags! That's normal, then the low speed of iptv does not look like a picture is pouring! And this is for such money!

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

After a few months of operation, there are no complaints. Set and forget. I use stock firmware. There are no problems with loss of connection, freezes or something else. You don't have to overload. Range is normal. Not more powerful than my old, 12-year-old asus :) but there are no problems with the connection in a 3-room apartment. 5 GHz takes even from the room farthest from the router. Through two walls, in fact. It looks like the walls are like this. :) Declared characteristics - shows. At…

Pros
  • All for now - satisfied
Cons
  • So far - not revealed

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

Pros: All convenient software, stylish, everything that is stated is available. Using ~ 4 months. Has cons: I don’t understand the reason, but some phones lose the Wi-Fi network, although it shows full coverage, and some just don’t see it.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

It works without problems, it is connected via a usb cable to the street II Internet signal amplifier. The signal does not lose, it does not heat up at all!

Pros
  • dual-band Wi-Fi 6, operating at 5GHz and 2.4GHz simultaneously. Thoughtful, understandable and convenient software.
Cons
  • Not

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

The signal strength seems to be enough for a three-room apartment, although not ideal. With the previous D-Link router, there was quite a problem. Well, I can’t evaluate the speed, because I installed a gigabit router for the first time. The software is really user friendly. I was afraid that after the usual D-Link I would not master it. And everything is clear there - and for an ordinary user (named the network, set the password and don’t touch it) to the system administrator, and I’m…

Pros
  • Convenient setting in the software, including through a mobile application. Signal strength normal.
Cons
  • A couple of times for a few minutes I lost cable Internet, it’s not clear: through my own fault or the provider.

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

To connect via wi-fi to a common network, it suits us, there was a mistake with usb, I hope they will fix it in the next firmware. Different pros: The speed of Wi-Fi 5 GHz from a phone with a Wi-Fi ac module in economy mode is 300-500 Mbps, in productive mode - 500-650 Mbps. (With another router, the same phone accelerates to 600-750 Mbps). The AX adapter for testing was not available. Cons: When copying a large number of small files through the usb 3.0 interface (external hdd), the entire…

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

The choice of a router is confusing for many users. 80 percent will not use even half of the functions. The device is configured and forgotten about. But, suddenly, something is required, and in order not to go for a new router, it is better to take it right away so that EVERYTHING is there. The old Asus RT 66U router worked for 8 years, and the new one was bought not even because it broke, it is still working. The choice of a new one was difficult, but if you set the condition that there would

Pros
  • Famous brand. AH standard. 4 core processor 1.5 GHz. The presence of USB 3.0. Acceptable price. On the 2.4 band, it flashes the entire floor and the speed is 90 Mbps. It does not heat up like the previous routers that I used, a little warm.
Cons
  • There are no cons for my needs.
