Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

The connection and placement of the pickup contacts is standard audio technical, without color markings. There are quite detailed instructions for installing this head on a headshell (tonearm head). I recommend it to anyone who needs a good budget cartridge.

Pros
  • One of the best budget cartridges ever. Elliptical needle (wears the plate less and removes more signal compared to conical sharpening), high-quality carcass, there are upgrade options with other inserts. The sound for such money is excellent, the readability of the new records is excellent. Convenient attachment to the headshell, as there are no nuts, and the screws are screwed into the pickup body itself.
Cons
  • The service life of a complete, elliptical needle is 300 hours. This, against the background of other inserts, is very small. Conical - 500 hours, ML - 1000 hours, Shibata - 800 hours. Given that the elliptical insert is more expensive than the conical one, this is a bit strange.

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Standard audio technical is used for the connection and location of the pickup contacts; there are no color designations. The instructions for mounting this head on a headshell are extremely comprehensive (tonearm head). I suggest it to anyone looking for a high-quality inexpensive cartridge.

Pros
  • The best low cost cartridge ever. Elliptical needle, premium carcass, upgrade options with different inserts (wears the plate less and removes more signal compared to conical sharpening). The new recordings have excellent readability and excellent sound for the price. Because there are no nuts and the screws are inserted directly into the pickup body, it is easy to attach to the headshell.
Cons
  • A full, elliptical needle has a 300-hour service life. This is relatively little when compared to the other inserts. 500 hours for Conical, 1000 hours for ML, and 800 hours for Shibata. This is a little odd because the elliptical insert costs more than the conical one.

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Its pros: Standard budget head that everyone likes. Especially when the user switches to it after even cheaper heads. And the head is a springboard for the transition to better products. To do this, simply replace the cartridge. Cons below: The fact that I will not like you, too. You have a bad trend. Assign one price before buying, and at checkout it skyrockets. So the head cost 5,000 before registration, and already 6,000 during registration. Before that, I ordered active speakers, which cost

I should have looked better, spent money on an ordinary product.

I took a replacement for the Chinese BUM head from China Express on the newly purchased Akai ap-d40. Since there is a Technics 3300 player, bought from Japan with a native 1979 cartridge of the Technics 270C type, and there is something to compare with and more than 50 layers have been listened to on it, that is, an understanding of how it sounds. 270 budget cartridge and it is with a cone structure. Thinking that taking an elliptical 95 would sound more interesting. She is packaged well. I…

Pros
  • Affordable price, light fastening screws
Cons
  • Sound quality

The best value for money among pickups.

I installed this cartridge on an old Rega Planar 3 with an RB250 arm. It sounds great. It doesn't interfere with the music I like. I don't want to hear how some devices color everything into a certain sound and with this cartridge you don't have to worry about that. No part of the frequency range is emphasized, the sound tracks very well (the AT always does) and the stereo imaging is excellent. It's virtually indistinguishable from my trusty AT440MLA with the AT100E stylus, which I've used for…

  • Everything is fine!

No Regrets: Electronic Music, DJ & Karaoke

I bought this because there was still only one stylus option for my existing cartridge and I wanted more options if I could decide for an upgrade it allows. It installed in minutes and immediately removed the sibilance I was hearing and restored the top end of the sound and clarity of the bass tones. Very similar to the videos you can see on YouTube. Sony PSLX300h '97. First cartridge upgrade. I played a remaster of Craft REM's Monster with this one, "Hot Thoughts" Spoon, Bon Ivers 22 A…

The best beat on the dollar.

I bought this cartridge to replace another AudioTechnica cartridge of unspecified age in my Technics SL-Q3 turntable. Installation was fairly easy as the mounting flanges are threaded so no fiddling with tiny nuts. The cartridge came with no adjustment tools, so I used the original shell position from the previous cartridge as a guide, which got me very close to the mark. I found a cartridge protractor online and used it for the final alignment. I set the reference weight to 1.8g and the…

Very good value for money

As a teenager I got very interested in audiophile stuff in the late 70's and early 80's. I had a Dual 510 and then a Denon turntable and have always loved Audio Technica turntable cartridges. It's literally 40 years later and I'm getting most of the old vinyl out of storage. I still have the original Denon turntable - model DP-23F - and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it worked perfectly - except the Shure cartridge on it was a little tired and, frankly, sounded pretty bad. So I bought…

Difficult installation for a beginner. If this is you, read on!

So I bought a HeyDay turntable (it's a Target brand but got great reviews). Included was Audio Technica 3600L. This is the "Middle Path" cartridge. It's not bad and I would do well to stay with him. But without knowing how to install, align, adjust, etc. a new cartridge, I knew I risked ruining it and my turntable (LOL!). First, now that the "journey" is over, it's amazing! The sound isn't a little bit better, but a lot better. The sound envelops you. It's so complete and clear. The separation…
