after reading the reviews on this stabilizer clip i decided to order it, this clip works great and really improves the sound, very nicely made works great! I recommend this product, it also gives the turntable a nice finishing touch! very good product. Great addition to my Audio Technica turntable

Pros
  • ideal for a small house
Cons
  • quality

What I like is that you can still view the entries.

Feels solid and heavy. He does what he has to do, pressing the record firmly to the mat. What I like is that you can still see the record label instead of hiding it entirely. It's purely aesthetic, but for me it's a plus.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to say

Sturdy and works great on analog tables

This worked really well on my old refurbished Pioneer PL and TT tables. The Yamaha PX-3 didn't like this, and when used on it produced weird fluctuations in engine timing. I highly recommend this product for analog tables and be careful when using it with a bipolar DC motor on tangential arm digital tables.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Light home audio

I was expecting a more chrome finish to match my TT chrome lever but it has black chrome overall. It's a good clip that keeps my records in place, damn heads I don't take to dancing as much anymore as the sound is a little quieter, more focus on the instruments and tight bass. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for more customization options for their Hi-Fi system!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good but not great

This is NOT a ROTARY CLAMP.

This is not a clamp as stated in the description. That's weight. Well-made weight, but weight nonetheless. There is an ongoing debate about using a platter clamp versus using the weight of a platter. Regardless of which side of the question you are on, you should be able to order a clip and get a clip, or order a batch and get a batch. You shouldn't order a collar and get delivery, which is the case with this product.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minor issues

So far it's working great!

Over the past year I have gradually upgraded all of the components in my system. I did some research on capture clips as the final part of my upgrades and saw no reason not to try this one out. I've been using it for two weeks and it works great! I use it on a wide variety of pressings, from standard LPs from the 60's and 90's through to several more recent releases and reissues on 180g vinyl. I am very happy with the results it is giving me!

Good weight for this size.

For some reason I thought it was a bit wider than the standard weight. It's not a clamp, it's a burden. My fault for not reading the dimensions. But he does his job. I prefer wider weights but this will work. Great job, love the haircut. Very easy to grab and move, didn't feel like I could drop it or slip out of my fingers. I would pay more for the same if it was wider. I prefer to cover everything on vinyl. Just for better weight distribution. But its nice. Just another weight for my…

YES SIR. It really works!

My big fancy turntable has a threaded spindle and machined record clamp that screws onto the platter to prevent unwanted record resonances from traveling through the stylus to the pickup and on through the amp and the loudspeakers are transmitted. I know it works and have been using it effectively for years. My new small platter doesn't have a clamp or threads on top of the spindle, so I had my doubts about the finished weight sitting straight over the spindle. The spindle can do its job. The…

Effective tip for playing vinyl records

I've been listening to my vinyl collection again for a few years now, after switching to CDs in the early 80s. I still had a working B&O turntable that I still use, but I didn't want to put too much strain on this old machine. So I bought some new mid-range turntables, shall we say. The first thing I did was upgrade the cartridges. After a few other upgrades (cables, mats, and record cleaning equipment) I noticed that some of my old records were slightly warped and didn't seem to stick to the…
