Very strong and good construction

I bought this 3 way hitch because I recently bought a trailer to tow behind my pickup and I wanted to be able to move the trailer without a truck. The trailer is too heavy to push by hand so I wanted to use my quad but needed a ball hitch on the quad. This three-way clutch works perfectly. I can still use a regular pin hole for the ATV hitch, but now I have a 2" ball that goes with it. The only downside (and this isn't a problem with the hitch design) is that without an air wrench it's…

To avoid sideways rolling, put it on the right side.

I was very hesitant to buy this clutch for my '86 Honda 350 Fourtrax because I read that the clutch twists sideways, especially when reversing. As I began the installation I noticed that the underside of my Honda hitch had raised edges and when I held the new hitch under my Honda hitch it was almost as if a new hitch had been made for my Honda . It actually fitted into the Honda hitch and the bolt was just there to hold it in place. I have a 6 x 12 tandem trailer that was loaded with quite a…

Absolutely essential to reaping the full benefits of a self-propelled mower

As a few reviewers have pointed out, this bracket rotates on its own as only one screw holds it in place. However, this does not detract from its usefulness. There are other mounts that cost twice as much, but I don't want to shell out that much money for such a simple product. At its current price of $25, this mount is worth every penny. If you really don't want it to move or twist, weld it in place. I am using this bracket on a 46 inch 20hp Poulan Pro lawnmower. Rubbish, firewood and tools…

functional but limited in what you can do

Works exactly as described but as other posters have said you can't drive backwards with this hitch as it attaches with just one mounting screw on the bracket turns. If you want to tow a wagon or implement from time to time and don't have to worry about backing it up, this works great. The design of the product also creates a lot of torque at the attachment point. So if you're mounting it on the back of a 'live' mower, you'll probably need to reinforce the mounting plate on the mower with some…

A working ATV can use one.

If you tow various trailers etc. on your ATV, you can use one of them. First it raises the drawbar of the trailer. This can be especially important if the trailer is fitted with a fixed jack so the bottom end doesn't drag on the ground, catch on curbs, etc. Easier. Third, you can attach either a ball hitch or a pin hitch without screwing the ball in or out. This unit cost a little over half the next lower price I found for the same item. viewpoints; First, because the hitch point is set back…
