Amazing product! Very easy to use

great product! Super easy to use! My son took it out of the box and burned the DVD in minutes before I could finish reading the instructions. It was so easy to work with. We received the DVD-R and it worked fine. I'm not sure about other drives. He placed the original DVD in the top tray and a blank disc in the bottom tray, and six minutes later he was done. They both showed up and you have a great second copy. If you accidentally make copies, this works fine. However, if you plan on making a…

Misleading product description - does not fit OverSeas

Shipping was quick, product seems to work fairly well. My problem is that the product description is incorrect. The product description states that the copier is suitable for use abroad because it supports various voltages from 110V to 240V. Upon arrival and unpacking, the instruction manual states that the copier has a switch to switch between 110v and 240v. But in reality the copier has no switch and the power cord is a 110V cord. So I had to contact Revain Chat who confirmed that the…

Great car! Really works!

I bought one of these units a while ago to make copies of old family movies that I first transferred from VHS tapes/camcorders to DVD. THAT was a daunting task in itself, consuming every available moment of my life for weeks. (It had to be done in real time and some things had to be edited). Now everyone wanted easy-to-use DVDs and Christmas was just around the corner. I thought this collection would make a great gift for anyone who could have their own. But I would NEVER waste TIME repeating…

Used it to transfer home videos to DVD - quick and easy

I helped my friend buy this. I'm helping her burn her old home videos from VHS to DVD and I needed a way to quickly duplicate finished DVDs. Duplicating DVD to my computer would not only take a long time but also require a lot of work. This machine does everything very quickly and easily. So easy to use. Even a person who is not very tech savvy can use it. You put the DVD you want to rip on the top tray and the blank DVD on the bottom tray. At the push of a button, he starts the copying…

Great product with absolutely GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I got the copier up and running a few days after receiving it. The first disc I tried to copy was a very long time ago on videotape, which I dubbed onto DVD. I tried to make a copy but the copier stopped at 74%. I had no idea why it stopped but I immediately called Copystars and spoke to a very knowledgeable gentleman named Raymond. I told myself what probably happened and it made sense to me as the original camcorder wasn't the best but worked in 1978. He also walked me through the copier's…

Avoid Copy Stars at all costs - buyers beware

Copy Stars does not endorse its product. I bought two of these, one worked for a month and then stopped working properly. The second works half the time. Accidental good recordings and occasional bad recordings are a waste of blank DVD/CD and should not be normal. According to Copy Stars I abuse the copier but I did trial runs over the phone and that was their solution to a complaint asking for a replacement. This was needed for services that reflect weekly sermons. Of course I have to go…

Great copier so easy to use

I wanted a DVD/CD copier to make copies of photo CDs and family video DVDs. I figured this division of Copystars would do the job. It reminds me of a small desktop computer and is very well built. Very easy to use. IF the DVD or CD you want to copy is in good condition and is not copy protected on the DVD or CD, you should have no problem copying. You can't duplicate movies or games at all, which isn't a problem for me as I only want to duplicate my photo CDs and DVDs. I have family videos and…

Rip DVD without suffering

It's probably possible to rip CD/DVDs with a computer, but every computer I've had has made the process pretty obscure and it's really easy forgetting about it between copy sessions. . When I wanted to copy old family photos to the hard drive, nothing worked, so I bought Copystars. I don't use it very often, but when I do, it works great: original in one slot, blank in another, press a button and it all takes care of itself. I know that at the end and with great frustration, my computers…
