DICKIE TOYS Super Construction Crane Review

Bought for my 3 year old grandson. He loves this thing, plays with it all the time. The controls are so simple, a 3-year-old can pretend to operate a tower crane. I wish it had been available in my time!

The faucet is excellent, the claws work well, my son loves it. The car transporter had some issues with not staying together. The problem was solved with simple rubber O-rings. It took some workarounds and a few days, but the o-rings really solved the problems.

It's very big so my son wanted it. He totally loves it! It was pretty easy to put together. It's a bit heavy and the parts are plastic so I'm not sure how long it will hold together. The only downside is that the faucet doesn't open automatically via the remote control. My kids are rough with their toys but so far so good!

Ordered a few weeks ago for my son's 3rd birthday. He finally opened it up for his birthday this week and it broke before he even had a chance to play with it. The hook on the crane doesn't lower from the console, it just rises, making the crane pretty much useless. It's also a big crane that's easy to build and would make a great toy if it worked. Very disappointing, will update review after speaking to seller.

Decent big toy for the current price of $35. Overall it's quite large and easy to assemble, although small children may need help. While that's good, it could have included more remote/etc options because we got bored of it pretty quickly because it's very basic at what it does. More of a joke gift for a crane driver or a good gift for their children. This is a really fun toy. Our 5 year old loves arcade claw games and he enjoyed it a lot. It took about 15 minutes to assemble and apply the decals. The instructions were rather poor. Requires 6 AA batteries and a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery remote. There are a few breakable parts and I can expect this thing to break next week due to heavy use and heavy use. The quality is much worse than expected. The plastic feels cheap and flimsy. Unfortunately, the remote control doesn't really do much. For example, you can't open the claw with the controls, only manually, which is a major drawback. My son wanted him to play with his cars until he realized he wouldn't pick them up. Just bought this for my girlfriend's 4 little boys. t disperse, and this is the lower base. The remote control has 2 levers: turn the tap left or right. Please note that you can rotate the faucet more than 360 degrees to tangle the cord as everything is fixed, so be careful.
