These are absolutely NOT 3mm tips and that's the only reason I bought them. I'm a professional artist and I don't always want to use my Apple Pencil, so I'm always looking for good stylus pens with fine, responsive tips. They are significantly larger than the 3.25mm rubberized pen tips I use regularly, at least 4mm I think. I like these. I was skeptical when I first bought them because I have a small hand. Two problems: The main problem is that all the tips that came with the probes were defective. Half of the mesh came right out of the neck and I had to replace each one. Fortunately, the replacement is ideal - the tragedy was avoided. The other one might just be a bug in ID OT 10. These pens are great and almost perfect for my taste and use. I'm retired but active and probably sit on my tablet 4 hours or more a day, playing puzzles, games, social media, shopping, reading etc. For a man I feel like I have medium/normal sized hands.
