I don't know if you have much choice with these ink cartridges. If you need one for your Epson printer, then this is it.One issue I have with this. If you don't print out things very often, you have to run the maintenance routines on your printer to get this cartridge to print without leaving gaps in the printout. They do produce a nice smooth printout, once the cartridge has been used a little. If you print things daily, or at least regularly, this probably won't be an issue for you.One other…

Pros
  • Use it for making copies
Cons
  • The cartridge may have compatibility issues with certain printers, causing frustration

It's all ink to me.

Not happy about how often I need to purchase ink. $$$ It's adding up. But that's how these little printers work. At least I know I can get ink quickly from Ebay and know it is a good product at a decent price. I'm no ink expert, but this ink seems good to me. I haven't had problems with the printer recognizing the cartridge, so that's a plus.

Pros
  • What can I say ? It is ink and it is black. It fit perfectly in my Epson printer and is printing fine.
Cons
  • The expiration date on the cartridge is not clearly visible

Works just fine on my review.

UPDATE: I feel the need to knock the rating down a bit due to my most recent purchase of this cartridge. I bought it early, before my current cartridge was fully empty, to have on hand for when it was time to change it out. This ended up being about 3.5 weeks because I didn't have much to print for school at the time. When I finally put in the new cartridge I only got maybe 10 pages of text printed before it was totally out of ink. It had been well over a month at this point and the return…

Pros
  • ‎Epson
Cons
  • The package does not mention the proper handling procedures for disposing of empty cartridges

I want my money back

I recieved the item from Ebay, and I installed the cartilage in my printer. I have done this many times before, and everything was done right. I printed a page, but black ink did not show up anywhere. So I did a head cleaning using my printer, then, I did a check. The black print started to appear but it was irregular, leaving some parts unprinted. I did another head cleaning and another check. Slightly but surely the black ink was improving. My Epson400 printer manual states to repeat the head

Pros
  • I like that my printer recognizes it as a true Epson producr
Cons
  • The cyan cartridge is used less frequently than other cartridges, causing it to dry up faster

Doesnt work with latin version of XP-400

This actually isnt a review for the product. I just want to let people know that this cartridge DOESNT WORK with the XP-401 (the latinamerican counterpart of the XP-400). The cartridge fits and looks the same but the printer detects it isnt the "correct" one with some kind of chip or something. I bought it here because of the lower price but I think Im stuck with the much higher price of the local retailer here in my country.

Pros
  • Inkjet Ink Cartridges
Cons
  • The ink is not consistent with every print, causing an inconsistency in quality

Easy Replacement on my review.

The order arrived quickly, as usual. It was carefully packaged and the contents were all in excellent condition. Replacing a cartridge is a cinch by just following the instructions and watching the display on the printer. The cartridge is small and is advertised as "Standard-Capacity" which is just fine for my limited printer use. Whereas once I did loads of printing and filing now I just move what I want to retain onto a flash disk or some other storage device. It is much simpler that way. But

Pros
  • Epson is the finest ink for LaserJet printers.
Cons
  • The cartridge may not fit correctly into your printer, causing installation difficulties

I AGREE with several other consumers whole heartly!EPSON CARTRIDGES (200) for the ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER (WF-2540) is a big joke!It doesn't make any sense that EPSON would "purposely" design a printer cartridge that would make the customer (via word of mouth) tell others NOT to buy their product (printers). Unfortunately, THAT'S WHAT I'M GOING TO DO!My goal is to let as many CONSUMERS as possible know "exactly" how many cartridges it will take to make these "pricey-poorly-filled" cartridges last…

Pros
  • With its simple, quick, and easy installation process, this cartridge is convenient and user-friendly.
Cons
  • The ink can cause blockages in the printer's nozzle, causing cleaning problems

Dont buy it! best in my review

Printed five sheets and it’s out of ink already nothing is left in it when checking ink levels I want a replacement or refund company giving me the run around for replacement or refund

Pros
  • Our Epson printer is an older one, so it was great to find this cartridge, & at a reasonable price!
Cons
  • The ink cartridges are prone to clogging, causing printing problems

Expensive but quality

OEM products are usually "perfection" but the price is crazy. I love the T200XL's but can't afford them so I settle for the "plain" T200 lately. I do a lot of printing because of my genealogy research and the XL give me a lot more ink, but OEM is better than buying off the wall remanufactured cartridges.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The ink may cause your printer to jam, requiring maintenance

Print quality good for me

Print quality was the same as if I had bought it from the store the value was great and I always order this product. The ink may not be pigmented enough for certain printing projects.

Pros
  • Printer Ink & Toner
Cons
  • The ink may not be pigmented enough for certain printing projects

Small, but decent quality

I prefer buying genuine ink for my printer (Epson WF-2540) and the price here on Ebay was less than I found in stores. I save even more money buying the ink through the other retailers on Ebay. It almost makes up for how small the cartridges are. I rather miss my old Kodak printer because their inks were dirt cheap and good quality (even though the printer itself could have been better. but I digress). I would prefer a little more ink in each cartridge. I rather wish Ebay would sell the XL…

Pros
  • very nice quality
Cons
  • The cartridge is not refillable, contributing to the landfill waste

nothing is dirty or bent

The ink may be ok, unfortunately I'll never know since my Epson wireless printer no longer recognizes any Epson cartridges. I've tried all the internet suggestions of unplugging the printer, removing all cartridges, running with or without them a zillion times, and I get the same replace cartridge message. My printer is only a couple of years old, and did not get heavy use, nothing is dirty or bent. Possibly a firmware update might be to blame. This black ink two pack is now open and gone to…

Pros
  • Better quality than the lab
Cons
  • The colors may seem dull, reducing the overall quality of prints

I would not recommend using those that claim are recycled

It's ink. Depending on the printer you have, you basically have no choice. That being said, this ink will last about 2 months if you are a college student printing out essays weekly. It should last you longer if you only print out occasionally. I would not recommend using those that claim are recycled. The system will recognize that it has been refilled and will not accept it or record it as empty.

Pros
  • They were just perfect for my Epson printer, copier, scanner!
Cons
  • The ink quality is not as vibrant as advertised

Not much ink, and I feel kind of cheated.

I have an Epson XP400, and yes, the printer was inexpensive, about 70.00. If I had known the following important details, I would have shelled out more for different / better printer. The printer itself is adequate for small batch, normal quality stuff. That's IT.1. If you run out of ONE ink--be it yellow, magenta, blue, or black, the printer refuses to let you print anything. I am in this position right now, where I don't care if I need to print it out in magenta, I just need to print…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • The ink dries up quickly, leading to inconsistent printing quality
