Don't hesitate / buy!

I rarely write product reviews, but this scanner does a great job. I've been using a flatbed scanner for years and it felt like it took forever to scan my work. That's incredible. saves me so much time It's very fast and makes incredible copies. I bought it in March and have been waiting to write this review. Absolutely no problems so far. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. Worth every penny. Don't hesitate, buy. Easy to set up, very easy to use. A+

Pros
  • Intelligent color and image adjustments - automatic cropping, blank page removal, background removal, wipe detection and paper skew correction with Epson imaging technology
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Junk Document Scanner

ID scanning stops very frequently. Multiple original error messages. Money today is not enough to have quality things and run your business well. I returned it. Update: after scanning there is a black border around the image. terrible. In all comments about Epson scanners you will find this sentence: "This is an Epson WorkForce review. Document scanner that I received for free for beta testing and review. "Americans sell themselves for lunch, let alone $700. They are ready to say that the night

Pros
  • Clean up fast - scan up to 35 ppm/70 ipm (2); One-Step technology captures both sides in one pass
Cons
  • Takes a long time

Overall a good printer.

Overall a good printer. I needed it to be able to recognize legal and letter size. Followed the instructions and it didn't work. The downside was the technical support. I spent 6 hours waiting for help 3 times. They couldn't understand why it wouldn't work. They blamed Adobe. Very poor online support and chat support. The price was high.

Pros
  • Easy integration with most software solutions - the included TWAIN driver allows easy connection with most document management programs.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

It's ok if you like doing some flat irons. I would not buy again.

The first device I encountered was the crooked scanning of pages. I would have to go into crop utility and straighten each side by 0.6 or -0.6 depending on if it was front or back. I contacted Epson and they determined it was a hardware failure and needed to be replaced. They sent me a repaired unit with the exact same problem, only 0.4 or -0.4. Also, it's bullshit that you buy a brand new unit and when you have problems they send you a used unit that was also shipped because it had problems…

Very fast but difficult to set up for Gmail

The machine itself is very fast. Not described as portable, but small enough to portage when needed. 4 hours online, I figured it out. Had to make changes to my Gmail settings. To set up sending documents to my Acer laptop, I had to go to the Epson website to download the software and drivers. I use this for LARGE documents to email so I set the DPI to 200 and the file size and quality is good.

Pros
  • Easy wireless scanning - Large 4.3" touchscreen and wireless connection make it easy to scan to smartphones, tablets, computers and online cloud storage accounts (1) from desktop, LCD scanner display or Epson Smart Mobile Panel app (3)
Cons
  • Too long to wait

It's a beast and a lemon

Don't buy this scanner. This scanner will eat your documents. The photos are proof of that. Don't buy it if you don't want your documents destroyed. And they have no technical support. and not responding and is limited in hours. β€” β€” Update now, wifi connection issues with replacement β€” β€” β€” Updated 6/16/2021, this is my 4th replacement now. Getting real support is extremely difficult. Even with a USB connection, this scanner just stops working after 1-2 months. This surrogate is like an ex who…

Buyer Warning. Do not buy this product

This product has not worked since day one. When contacting Epson support, it turned out that the device had a hardware error. They told me to send the device back and replace it. After countless calls, each with a waiting time of more than an hour, a FED EX label was sent to us to return the device. It's been 30 days and I'm still having problems with EPSON. EPSON sent a replacement (refurbished) device, not a new device. Did NOT send replacement cords or paper guides. Now after the 5th call to

Excellent scanner and unfinished software

I decided to buy the Epson ES-580W because of its features and price. This scanner is fairly new and I haven't seen many reviews yet. The scanner itself is excellent, works fast and produces high quality scans. The document feeder works great, I haven't seen any paper jams yet. software problem. It's slow and not very intuitive. There is also a problem with Wi-Fi and the scanner does not find it. At the moment I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue. The server for using cloud…
