Bought as a gift for my son. It’s genuinely terrifying. Returned it the day after it came in the mail. It’s so sensitive that even the slightest amount of weight would have it taking off. I know how hoverboard and my son has used others with no issue whatsoever. But this one was just a solid no from the second it came out of the box. PASS.

DONT BUY! My kids were thrilled with this hoverboard! They enjoyed riding and had a lot of fun. UNFORTUNATELY within 6 months time the battery would not hold a charge. Sent in for repair and was told the battery was replaced. However battery still never held charge and after the time and expense to send for repair ( repair was under warranty ) the hoverboard was returned with scratches that werent there before. Have tried numerous things to repair but pointless! DONT BUY! Dont Buy! Honestly…

My sister's kids (ages 10-15) have an older model Swagtron that moves slower and does not have independent foot petals. My kids has a blast riding their older model Swagtron at their house on carpet (my kids are 6 and 9). We opened these newer model Swagtons and they are WAY too powerful for young kids. My 9 year old figured out how to work it within a few minutes, my 6 year old couldn't get it to move correctly because this thing FLYS with the most minuscule of movement forward or backward…

My son was disappointed by the short battery life. Granted he is a bigger kid(5’11”/165lbs) the battery doesn’t last more than 30-40 minutes fully charged.The device itself is sturdy and well built. It looks very cool even if he has to carry it back home :-)

Product arrived on time, quickly and packaged well and secure.It came already charged which was nice since it was for my daughters birthday and she wanted to try it right away.At first my 8yr had a hard time getting on but soon she was able to get on by herself with no difficulty.I am very happy with the product so far and recommend this product and company.

The batteries are substandard, after 3 charges they began to fail to fully charge. The feature to turn off self balancing did not work, even after many tries at re calibration. Tech support is a joke, they just want you to give up, and spend your time going through a long return process, glad I bought this trough Ebay return was fast, and had my credit back in a few days.

Super disappointed about this product. Bought it for my son for Xmas and he rode it daily around the house in short stints. One day it just stopped working. Leading up to that day, wheels would stop working randomly, random beeps coming from board, and battery plus acted weird. Battery plug always showing green light meaning board or fully charged but board stopped turning on. Definitely wanting money back.

I have riden this every single day since i got it pretty much and I absolutely love it. It is the best! It charges pretty fast and hasn’t given me any issues at all!

I have been too busy to write this review but my son will use this for a total of 5 minutes then it dies! What fun is that? He loves this darn thing but then gets so bummed out after it dies 5 minutes later 10 minutes tops!Save your money and your kids happiness!

My son used Christmas money to purchase his Swagtron Hoverboard. It looks sharp and he had a great time riding it. Within a very short time (A few months) the batteries wouldn't hold a charge. He is disappointed that we have to send it back to the manufacturer to get it repaired.

Had heard these had issues with fires in the past but I thought that was resolved. Bought this for my two sons, and after 1 day we had it plugged in and started smelling burining plastic.

I bought this as i know someone that has a similar one that worked really well. However, the controls of this one is way different and doesn't work as other hoverboards do, even after calibrating it with a level it still acts wonky. It's difficult to explain. Maybe I received a bad unit but even so, what does that say about their quality control?

Evacuated the house today. Thought we had a natural gas leak. Turned out that the battery in the scooter exploded when charging. Scooter was used twice and charged once. DON'T BUY

My children loved this when they got it! It was very durable and they rode it all over the neighborhood. 6 months later, the battery died and Swagtron said they would replace it. They said there was a cracked wheel (which wasn’t true) and I never saw it again. Great product but I would go with another brand/manufacturer.

We ordered 2 as gifts. The hoverboards arrived only 2 weeks ago, and the battery exploded while my kiddo was riding. It left a toxic odor and leaked battery acid. Still waiting to hear from Swagtron. At this point, we are extremely disappointed. We have twin boys. With only one working hoverboard, it is a huge problem.

I purchased two of these and both stopped functioning properly within 2 months. Battery wont hold a charge, runs for a few minutes then starts beeping because of low battery. THEY BOTH had the same issues!Dealing with the company to get them fixed or replaced is a nightmare!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. It would not stay charged for 5 minutes. I requested another and it would beep while he was on it and just stop, throwing him off. I finally requested a refund for the 2 faulty boards. I paid $150 for it and got a $120 refund. Apparently, they took off $30 for shipping when the things didn’t even work right. Ridiculous business model. Buy from someone else.

After looking at Razor and other expensive optics, my son picked this one out of several other Swagtron boards.The first one had to be returned since it did not hold up to 2 grown 200lb men trying to ride it. But for his slim 100lb frame, it's like a magic carpet ride. He can spin and ride it almost like walking so I will rate it a 4/5 for a smaller person.

Great started hooverboard for kids. Got for my niece and nephews. They all enjoy it often. They were able to learn it in about 5 mins.
