I have a 2004 Honda CBR600RR that was recently stolen and returned 2 months later. At the time I had no locks, no alarm system for that matter. This lock secures your bike where you would literally have to lift it off the ground to move it. It has a motion detector and a thief warning sound. I love this castle! I can really sleep easy knowing my bike is safe! and very affordable.

I bought this mainly for the alarm feature, to create a sense of urgency to disable this and other locks and alarms or leave them alone. You have to kneel down to toggle it on and off so the thief doesn't want to be vulnerable while they work. Don't use it alone! The thief will break it simply by hacking it. Use them with U-locks, alarms, and GPS trackers to keep them occupied while approaching them from behind with a crowbar (LOL).

The beeps are surprisingly loud and the motion sensor is very sensitive. I loaded a gym bag on my bike and the thing kept beeping. It obviously does what it's supposed to do, so that's a good thing. The lock is fairly secure and the clip-on wire serves as a good reminder if you have one. Comes with two keys and a case. The only thing that confuses me is that the case is a little small and difficult to assemble with the lock and wire. Overall very satisfied

Benefits: Small and lightweight. The siren is so annoying that nearby people check where the sound is coming from. Cons: You can't lock or unlock this device unless it emits a deafening siren.
