Does not measure 1/4 inch

dowels. These dowels have a spiral rib design where the ribs are not very deep and are NOT 1/4" - the dowel will not fit snugly in a 1/4" diameter hole. If you use Dowelmax, don't buy these dowels - your best bet is to buy Dowelmax dowels.
