The cable works perfectly. The anti-jam feature is terrible.

As mentioned, the cable itself is fine. It works as advertised and delivers the speed it was designed for. The cable box also seems pretty solid. My problem is related to the anti-jam feature. It does not stay in place but can slide down the sleeve. This is a terrible trait of the anti-hook: it negates the very meaning of its presence. Why did I only give one star for that? It's really very simple. I'm generally fed up with lazy, cheap production in all subjects. If you want to do something, do

Better wired than WiFi

The cable jacket is thick, fairly flexible and the top speed is 500/500MB, but don't make sharp turns (3-5 inch radius/76-127 mm) as you will damage the inside Plastic shaft in the cable. In summary, this is a great outdoor Ethernet cable and you'll get your money's worth.

  • Great choice

We saved money on Category 6 cabling

Value for money. Bought for a project my son wanted to complete. The length was perfect and he was able to route the cable easily. The cable feels solid and does what we need it to do.

  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Something's wrong

So far so good for cables and connections

Everything appears to be well made and ready to use. Time will tell how well our outdoor wireless hotspot connected to our patio will perform. It faces north, so it won't be exposed to much heat, but it will be exposed to a decent amount of the elements and temperature swings here in Minnesota. I will edit this review in a year if it is well received.

Heavy duty, fits computer accessories and peripherals

Bought to set up a hotspot in the garage. I did it once but the part of the cable that came out deteriorated quickly. This one is significantly stronger. I haven't run any numbers but the connection seems fast and stable and I have a good feeling it will last for a while.

SLEEPING SHIT

Men WHAT SHIT. And I mean shit. This crappy cable is an absolute poop. RJ45 connectors were misplaced and cheap. They look like fire hazards and I'm sure they are. The overall quality sucks and it even looks like it. It's a smoking pile of shit! When I tested it I got 80% signal loss. Wait. Did I say 80%? Yeah, damn eight percent! It's insulting. Good. Sometimes you just get a defective product, right? Yes. But this steamboat started out as shit because it's made of shit. But then again, it…

Meets my cable and connection needs

This cable meets my needs. It's good that this is a direct dig, but if you have the time and want more permanent wiring, I recommend using conduit and digging deeper. But I just needed something temporary until we remodel our house. As with any cable, it was a bit difficult to straighten and tended to twist if you tried to bury it. Another reason why a channel could be useful. You will also need a drill about 1 inch in diameter for a hole big enough to put the RJ45 connector through. If you are

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

It works, but the inner spine breaks very easily.

I ran this cable from an upstairs office to a downstairs living room at the opposite end of the house to overcome a weak WiFi signal. This was primarily for gaming, but now I also have the option of installing a mesh network and using this cable for the return trip. The cable was routed outside the house and through the underground. I chose this cable because it was designed for outdoor use and is future proof when I really need CAT6 bandwidth. The cable works for my use case, but it has an…
