i bought this bell knowing that it may not sound good. i was absolutely wrong. it sounds so so good. it sounds like the musical instrument called the "triangle" it sounds so so good. i even tested it on the phone with someone and they could hear how good it was. yes it feels strong and made with good materials. you do have to pull back hard to make it ring but isnt that a good thing? you don't want accidental rings. as what others said, it is very loud. you can absolutely hear it from far away.

i bought 2 of these. One for my wife and one for myself. We have ebikes and you really sneak up on people. They do exactly what we needed.

Actually, an old biker myself, I saw the value of mounting this on my wife's walker. People hear it soon enough so as to not be offended. On the other hand, there is some confusion when she is working the aisles at the thrift stores. She likes it, and that is what counts.

This bell is heavier than the one I broke, due to metal construction vs. all plastic except for the bell. It's fairly loud and has a nice timbre due to a heavier brass bell.

Great bell, beautiful clear sound but it didn't come with any rubber sizing to be able to adjust it to our bike so they just flop upside-down. Very annoying! My husband tried to rig something up but it's not the same.

I never expected a bike bell to be such high quality. Everything is metal; there is no plastic in this at all! Wow very impressed! The sound is loud and crisp. The clamp is amazing. They even include rubber spacers in case you need a togher fit. So great we are buying another one for the other side.

It's a great sturdy bell, although not loud enough when there's traffic and too much noise on the street. Size is perfect, sound too, but biking outside with all the noise around, takes some of the effect away. Most people don't hear me coming even if I use the bell multiple times. I'd recommend it for people living in quiet neighborhoods

The bell is cute and has a brilliant true brass ring tone. The installation is doable but you have to fiddle with rubber shims. Shouldn't be a deal breaker, but you'd think it could be much easier.
