Very good product - record player

I bought this digital recorder to convert all the songs from my cassettes to CD. I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of playback, although it's not top notch as you would expect from a brand new CD. However, there is a bug in the software, when the recording finishes and you press the stop button, a message appears asking you to start over! Sometimes it can be very annoying, but it really isn't always the case. I'll have to see if there's an updated software. Otherwise I would say

Pleasant surprise in terms of turntable and accessories

This product works as promised right out of the box. be re-released on CD or mp3 and I could start converting in minutes. If I find a digital copy - well, say, The Spinners Greatest Hits - I'll definitely update it, but until then I can more than live with the quality I'm getting here. will always be as easy and automatic as I want, but GDI allows me to transfer 45 minutes of tape in under an hour with some extra static electricity.

easy to use and effective

Have you always wanted to keep your old cassettes from being forgotten? This is the way to do it! For a while I didn't quite understand how it all worked, but once I did, converting old tapes to CD format was a breeze. In no time at all you can save all those precious tape recordings to CD. My band's demos from years ago were on old cassettes and nearing the end of their useful life. They cannot replace these shots of moments captured in time. I saved most recordings with no significant audio…

Excellent purchase. for turntables

I needed a basic cassette deck to record computer MP3 files for in-car playback. This was the ONLY unit that met my HiFi quality needs at an affordable price and size. Its main purpose is to actually convert a cassette to mp3, but my needs are completely opposite. Despite this, the quality of the device is good, as is the sound in headphones or connected to Hi-Fi. This is definitely Hi-Fi quality at a very modest price. To be honest, the glitches and other issues described in other reviews…

Works great but noise is a problem

This unit works as promised. The advantage of the device lies in its compact size and ease of use. The instruction manual is very sparse, so there are a few things that need to be done. I returned my device so I haven't used it enough to rate its reliability. The reason I sent it back is that a device playing audio on a computer via a USB port has a noise floor of around -30dBA, which is equivalent to listening to music at a distance of around 100 feet from a equivalent to a torrent. There…

Works well. very happy with it.

Works very well. Has separate volume controls for recording and listening. Cassettes sound perfect. without distortion. However, I did NOT use the software that came with it. I already have more sophisticated (and expensive) audio recording software installed (DC8 from Tracertek.com is highly recommended), so I went with this one (some reviewers weren't happy with the Audacity software, but I've found decent Audacity software elsewhere read reviews). I can highly recommend the device. Luckily…

Nice car but one problem

Installing and using the machine was easy. Immediately began to copy cassettes. The quality of the copy was identical to the original. One problem: something broke. I copied four cassettes. At the end of the fifth, I couldn't eject the tape. While there didn't seem to be any issues with the tape advance (looking through the deck window) and the fact that I could rewind and play while holding down the keys, I couldn't eject the tape. At this point, none of the buttons worked properly. I couldn't

It works for what I need

I bought a cassette deck to convert audio cassettes to digital media. The first deck I got had the problem of making electronic noises that started at random spots on the tape and then continued to the end. This made the blockade unacceptable. I contacted the manufacturer and they said I had to send the deck back for a warranty replacement/repair. I came back via Revain who did a great job of swapping out the deck in about a day. The second deck works fine. I was having trouble using it on an…

Grace Digital Tape 2USB200 - mixed review

I have literally hundreds of cassettes I wanted to digitize for the iPod so I thought buying the Grace Digital Tape2USB200 made sense. That's true, but there are a number of "buts" you need to know before making a purchase. First of all, the original device sent by Revain broke within two days - various knobs didn't work. I sent it back and a replacement arrived a few days later and seems to be working great. Here are some of the things you need to consider before purchasing: 1) Immediately…
