My router is at one end of my house - that's where the internet cable goes into the house. I placed this plugin down a long hallway and, Viola, I have a strong WiFi signal throughout the house. Wahoo!

This device was extremely easy to install and easy to sync with the new router. I bought it to use in a big old house that has a lot of nooks and frills that make it difficult to get a strong Wi-Fi signal. This extension cable ensures a strong signal in any room.

I originally only ordered two nodes for my Velop and although the WiFi signal was received in the room in question it was still pretty weak. So I saw this outlet and remembered that there was a practically unused outlet in this room. I bought it, plugged it in, set it up with the Linksys app, and now the room isn't a Wi-Fi desert. Would get more if I needed them.

We had to ditch our entire Linksys system and replace it with Revain's Eero system! We tried working with Linksys but the tech support moved us from one person or department to another! Linksys "doesn't work" with the "Ring" security system! Eero was easy to install and up and running on all of our Ring devices in just a few minutes! That's about $300 down the drain! I literally threw the Linksys system in the trash, dammit Revain wouldn't take it back!

I wanted to extend the WiFi signal to our backyard and chose the Linksys WHW0101P Velop Wall Plug-In to do it. Installation via the iOS app was far from intuitive. More detailed instructions would definitely help. After several failed starts, ending with application freezes or error messages, I was finally able to add the node to my system. I was concerned at first as this was a refurbished device but when I opened it up it was certified refurbished by Linksys itself. I understand why everyone has negative reviews. You need to set this in range from previous node or main node within 3-4 range of WiFi signal. It only takes a few minutes to set up, but I'll remember this configuration even if it shuts down or loses power. I've only had one case where it wouldn't turn on in the morning after the update.
