Works as expected in motion detectors

I have installed two of these in my workshop and am very happy with their performance so far. They have excellent ambient light and motion sensitivity settings. You can also set the time.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

I now have three of these, they are beautiful!

I have purchased and installed three of these units over the years. My main use was to automatically turn on the light in the basement and last but not least turn it off automatically. The last one was installed to turn on the attic lights.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Doesn't work with LED?

The unit was wired to turn on 6 LED strips on the garage ceiling. The device is either not compatible with the advertised LED drivers or was defective upon arrival. Tried in daylight and also in complete darkness for troubleshooting. A different brand sensor was put in its place and the headlights worked as expected with no changes to wiring etc.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost never

it seems he sees you through the door or wall

Two sensitive; it seems he sees you through a door or a wall. I had to set the sensitivity to min, still some trouble turning it on for no apparent reason. Maybe it reacts to temperature changes in the attic. In the next step, the overall insulation is laid between the device and the ceiling.

Pros
  • everything is fine!

It was easy to install and set up.

. I'm concerned about durability with this type of device. It was easy to install and set up. Fits a standard 4 inch diameter round electrical box. I use this motion sensor in our laundry room as my family forgets to turn off the lights. Stays on while people are in the room and never turned anyone off while they were in the room.

Pros
  • . Easy to read control panel.
Cons
  • . So far so good.

Looks good but has some sensitivity issues.

I like the visuals when installed on the ceiling of a public restroom, but found the sensitivity adjustment is not very linear and is either too sensitive or not enough. However, he feels too good, because even a flash of light in the room will upset him. Like a car headlight shining through an invisible window in a dark closet, it turns on. I've tried masking the sensor lens to avoid some of these false alarms, but I'm still working on getting it in reliable condition. Also very sensitive to…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Keep quiet

Inconsistent, unreliable, doesn't work. waste of time and money.

This product does not work. I wanted to return it and missed the return window by 4 days. It's unreliable. It doesn't constantly detect movement. You can open the garage door and it may or may not turn on. It turns on randomly and you can be in the room, and it turns off the light like you're not there, even if you wave and dance around it still won't turn on again. This product doesn't really work. Don't waste your money on this tour.

Pros
  • Adjustable time delay from 15 seconds to 30 minutes Adjustable sensitivity Adjustable light detection
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
