Perfect fit, best price.

Ideal for Moller tank. They have eliminated the small screen element at the top. A wise decision. Bleh I couldn't find a better price.

Exactly what you need

Arrived on time and intact and with proper packaging. I recommend buying 24" instead of 12" like me. The price difference is minimal and allows you to cut a custom length to fit your tank exactly. Installation was easy and straightforward.

Looks like a great product

Let me get this product straight. THIS IS A 3/8 NPT STRAW. not 1/4 npt. 3/8 NPT straw side threads (vertical side), 1/4 NPT horizontal side. making this path easier than I thought I would have to walk it. looks like a great product. I just took it out of the packaging like that. I'll throw it on my Zylstra fuel tank

Cons
  • So far so good

When the suction tube is not in use it will gsll

The product is usable but made of aluminium, which means that it will eventually be welded to the aluminum sleeve into which it will be screwed. Should be brass so the plastic pickup can be easily replaced if it rots. This was annoying so I had to block the old intake manifold and remove the plastic pieces from the tank and then drill another hole in the tank. lower parts.

DO NOT use with ethanol fuel!

Bought in 2011 as a replacement fuel tank for my pontoon boat. DO NOT USE ETHANOL FUEL with it. HE WILL BREAK. The original broke and fell into the tank leaving me stranded for 1/4 mile. The previous owner used a conventional gas water heater. The hose was so fragile. Slight pressure made it crumble. Using a sharp saw blade or hacksaw, cut the hose to the required length. Has no wire filter at the end. Although I was able to use the original strainer from the original tube.

  • Great for me

  • not reliable

Availability and price on Revain.sold me again!

The old Moeller tank pickup had about 2 feet of fuel line with the tag attached. Effective, but after ten years and all the ethanol in the fuel I had to switch. They work great and are designed so they don't need to be trimmed to fit. I love that the old style had screens to keep debris from being sucked in. My only wish was that they have an internal screen like the old style. I now check the water collection filter and the micro-filter more often. All in all a decent replacement for the old…

Works great on custom tanks.

I bought a pair of these to use on some aluminum fuel tanks I've built and they work great. It's a little misleading that it says they have 1/4" NPT threads, but that's referring to the fuel line connection, not the tank connection, which has 3/8" NPT threads. The finish on the part is good, the threads are very faithful, the pickup tube uses a type of plastic that has been very strong so far and is easily cut to length. There is no filter at the end of the pipe which is a plus for me as I…

Unknown - Ethanol spoilage

I didn't see any reviews about Ethanol spoilage before buying. Moeller Marine products are well known in the shipping industry. I have used Moeller Marine products for marine use in the past, they have always been good products so I did not read the reviews before buying. developed for ethanol, although there have been problems with the adoption of ethanol in all industries. Since the shipping industry is looking into ethanol, I didn't really think about it when I bought it. I bought this to…
